Buyala Bliss on the Nile

Fantastic property in a beautiful location! The pool was a delight, both buildings were gorgeous. Both villas had everything needed for an easy stay and we were so impressed with the recommendation of a chef. Loved using the barbecue and chilling by both the pool and river (the newly renovated river path was great). My absolute highlight was the little tower - a perfect spot to read in. Comfortably fitted the nine of us and we could have certainly spent longer there. The new renovations added to an already wonderful place

Be prepared that the roads there can be challenging with mud, dust and a confusing route (follow Pam’s instructions). Just note that it feels quite remote - once you arrive, stay there and enjoy it!

Stunning location, views of the Nile are amazing. Local staff are first class, we had food cooked for us which was fabulous. Would definitely recommend, combination of good quality facilities, amazing location and the local staff made the trip worthwhile.

Love the location, the villa and the spaciousness of the garden There is a BBQ area outside the villa, a pool with sunbeds and others under shade and a fire pit for sitting with a sundowner, overlooking the Nile and watching the stars come out. There is a gas cooker with electric oven and a microwave. Currently two villas, with one being expanded to 3 rooms, so we had the place to ourselves. Our villa had two large bedrooms with en-suite and lots of cupboard space. A perfect retreat from the craziness of Kampala and worth the drive on the murrum road. We will be back!

Internet I believe is coming - I hotspotted my phone, but connection would be good. Not having a TV is a plus and also a minus - depending on what you ate looking for.

It has the best view and the best healing point. The barbecue chef is really good at cooking, and the person who cleans keeps it clean.

It should be taken into account that communication is not good and road conditions are not good.
