About this house rental
Quaint 3 bedroom 2 bath 1960 river house set on 2 acres on the beautiful May River. Stones throw from downtown. Gorgeous views, incredible breeze, quiet, private, historical area. Backs up to an adjacent privately owned 15 acre farm. One level ranch style with three bedrooms. Kitchen and bath updates. New furnishings. Two small bathrooms each with a shower yet also a wonderful outside shower. Elliptical machine if you want some indoor exercise. Foosball table, small basketball court with 2 goals, fire pit, grill, and a horseshoe pit for fun entertainment inside or out! Walkable to downtown, NO dock. Golf cart -4 seater- available for rent upon request. Two day minimum 50.00/day or 300.00/week. Must be 21 or over to drive. Bikes available upon request through PEDALS HH 888-699-1039 if you would rather bike to town for lunch, dinner, or drinks.

House was cozy and the view was incredible! Our kids loved playing in the yard, especially with the two adorable dogs from next door. Location was perfect and the host was super responsive. Only downside was that the house was a little musty from being closed up, but host was eager to remedy.

We loved our stay here! The house is secluded yet so close to downtown Bluffton. The big yard with views of the water was so beautiful. The house had everything we needed.

The location of the property was perfect for our family to stay in Bluffton for my brothers wedding. When searching places I put in Wright Family Park it said .2 miles away. Thats not exactly accurate because you can’t drive though the yards to get there as I was hoping my kids could walk there. Not a huge issue. The issues we discovered was the very strong pungent mildew smell that was so hard to miss in the house. My mother and son have extreme allergy induced asthma and I would not recommend this house if someone in your family does too. One of the main Doorlocks was just barely screwed on. Little disappointed that the deck had not been swept or even wiped down prior to arrival to enjoy being outside. Anna said the yard is done on Thursday and we arrived Thursday but I guess that does not include taking a leaf blower to just attempt to clean up the outdoor space. We were a little shocked that we were asked to do laundry even while paying a cleaning fee. I’ve always been fine with stripping beds but when we went to dry the towels we opened up the dryer and the smell of moldy and mildew still damp towels from the prior guest were still in the dryer. When we tried to use the dryer it would run for 2-3 minutes and then stop would definitely recommend replacing the towels.
