About this castle / palace rental
This cottage can accommodate up to 26 people. It is located in the North East part of the castle:
Private and independent terrace overlooking the moat with garden furniture and barbecue.
On the ground floor you will find the kitchen, a room with washing machine, dryer, a room for two people (accessible to people with reduced mobility) a heated indoor pool; in the tower: the living room and the living room with a beautiful fireplace for convivial evenings by the fire.
1st floor, 6 double rooms
2nd floor, 4 double bedrooms and 1 family room for 4 people.
All rooms have a bathroom and toilet. Beds are made for your arrival and bath and pool towels are provided.
Welcome to Charbogne, a small village in the Ardennes. You will stay in the renovated part of our castle. Enjoy the heated indoor pool throughout the year. To meet you with family, friends, to celebrate an event: birthday, bachelor party boy, girl, a business seminar etc ... The Château de Charbogne offers you an exceptional setting. A cottage for 19 people and a cottage for 26 independent people (each in a wing)

We had a great holiday as a family of twenty in this wing of the chateau. Bedrooms abounded and the indoor swimming pool was perfect as the weather was a bit sketchy. The main living dining area was very large but it would have been nice to have had one more room to use a a breakout area. We would also have enjoyed a bit of garden space for the children to use as the outside area is very small and paved right next to the moat. The chateau owner and manager were very friendly and helpful and we loved Attigny namely for its bakeries, amazing canal cycle paths and drop in point for our inflatable boats

The castle in the country was spacious and quaint. It lacked an easy way to buy groceries and no amenities within walking distance. It would be great fun for a large group. The host person was very accommodating and helpful.

Nous étions un groupe de 26 personnes et nous sommes allés pour fêter mon anniversaire de 30 ans. Madame Olivier nous a fait confiance et elle nous a reçu dans son château. Nous avons été en contact elle a eu la gentillesse de répondre à mes nombreuses questions qui ont été posées bien avant notre arrivée. Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable. Ce château est très bien entretenu et il est très grand. Même s'il n'y a pas toutes les chambres qui apparaissent dans l'annonce, elles sont toutes grandes et propres. Chaque chambre a un accès direct à la salle de bain. Il n'y a que les deux dernières chambres au deuxième étage qui ont une salle de bain à partager. Il existe également des toilettes au RDC à côté de la piscine intérieure et de la cuisine. Nous avons fait des soirées dans le salon qui est bien isolé et éloigné de l'autre aile du château ce qui nous a permis de ne pas déranger l'autre groupe des voyageurs. Il fallait juste faire attention pendant la nuit quand nous étions sur la terrasse pour ne pas déranger les voisins situés alentours du château. Il y a l'accès libre à la terrasse et à la petite rivière, mes amis ont pu se balader et prendre des photos avec le beau paysage. La cuisine est complètement équipée pour 26 personnes, nous avons pu cuisiner tranquillement. Il existe un petit carrefour bien équipé à 5 minutes en voiture (il y a même un boucher). Madame Olivier nous a donné des bons plans et nous avons profité pour visiter une cave à champagne située à proximité. Pour résumer, nous avons passé un super bon séjour et le week-end de mon anniversaire restera inoubliable. Nous allons sûrement retenir cette adresse pour d'autres futurs événements.

Great location, pool a massive plus, outside area little small. Bedrooms plenty but some beds not so comfy. Kitchen plenty for my group.
