About this house rental

Old bread oven rehabilitated in guest room, it has a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom (Website hidden by Airbnb) of 2 private terraces a few steps from the swimming pool (open in summer).
The guesthouse is ideally located near the Château de Chenonceau (6km), the castles of Amboise and Chaumont sur Loire (less than 20km) as well as the Beauval zoo (26km). Its unique location allows you to many tourist visits in the surroundings and walks along the Cher.

Roman, the host, and his wife were so kind and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious. Accomodation was small but perfect for two people and having the pool at the end of a long hot day was a luxury.

Ronan was such a nice and friendly host, offering to make reservations at a restaurant, making a lovely fresh breakfast of crepes, bread, coffee and OJ. We visited three chateaux while there... Chambord, Cheonceau and Amboire, though there are many more in the region. The old town of Amboise has many restaurants to choose from. The separate gite was beautiful, comfortable and well appointed, and his sweet dog Blanche, miniature horse and chickens complete the homey atmosphere. There's also a nice pool and lounge chairs when the weather is warm enough soon. Lovely visit!

Stayed here for one night during our exploration of the Loire valley and it was absolutely wonderful!! The space was beautifully decorated, very rustic and the host was incredibly kind and hospitable. They gave us local recommendations and made us a delicious breakfast. When we come back I would love to stay here again and stay longer! Only discrepancy with the listing is that there is not a pool, so not sure what that photo is of.

Very nice property and rental facility. Our hosts were helpful, attentive, and patient with our every need, including making reservation arrangements on a Sunday when most restaurants were closed, and sharing insights into local attractions. Great time and could not recommend more highly

After being welcomed by Blanche, the dog, and her owner we were very happy to move into our little house. A good bed & shower and lovely little living room. And of course the swimming pool next to our snug terrace. Ronan provided us 3 times with a good homemade breakfast. And… he gave us some good tips what to see. Although the weather was not so good, we relaxed and enjoyed our stay. When back in the area we will hopefully be able to stay again!

Beautiful accommodation, great breakfasts and a lovely area by the pool with wild flowers. A good location with easy access to the chateaus. A short walk into the village centre. Would definitely recommend!

Great place lovely location

We stopped for a couple of days as a convenient break travelling south. We will definitely return as the area is so beautiful - lush and full of walks and interesting sights. Charming converted building, beautifully furnished. Delicious home baked breakfast included! Not really suitable for self catering although big fridge and microwave. And generous offer to do our washing up! Friendly hosts and well behaved animals. Wholeheartedly recommend.

A lovely first couple of days to my trip. Ronan was an excellent host, and him and his family made me very welcome. The property was beautiful and Ronan was always on hand to recommend where I should visit and which restaurants to dine at. I am fortunate to have a month long vacation and this was a perfect start.

Beautiful home, pool and property. We stayed for 2 nights and the owners were welcoming and hospitable. Quaint, French countryside at its finest. Delicious breakfasts. The animals (dog, horse, goose and chickens) completed the country atmosphere.

Prima als je op terug- of heenreis een plek zoekt centraal in Frankrijk. Als je iets langer de tijd hebt is de omgeving langs de rivier en het plaatsje Montrichard Val de Cher echt een bezoekje waard. Het contact met Ronan is ook erg prettig.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour grâce à la gentillesse de notre hôte ( et sa famille) et à sa disponibilité. À ne manquer sous aucun prétexte : le petit déjeuner et le repas , faits maison , de l'entrée au dessert. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au gîte ! Un accueil chaleureux et des conseils sur les visites alentours. Les petits déjeuners sont parfaits ! La localisation géographique est très pratique si vous souhaitez profiter des châteaux et du parc de Beauval. Il manque à ce logement une petite kitchenette mais à part cela la décoration est très belle et le logement sain ! Je conseille !

Klein aber fein, Haus mit allem Nötigen, jeden Morgen wurde uns das (maison) Frühstück von den freundlichen und netten Vermietern kredenzt, am Tag unserer Ankunft wurden wir sogar mit einem kleinen Diner überrascht. Ein schöner Pool mit Liegen und liebe Haustiere (Hund, Pony, Gans, Katze), und jeden Tag gute Tipps zum Erkunden der Umgebung. Eine relativ steile Treppe führt zum großen Schlafzimmer mit guten Betten, das Bad weist eine freie, begehbare Dusche auf. Achtung! Die Zufahrt ist für tiefergelegte Fahrzeuge eher ungeeignet. Uns hat es sehr gefallen

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end. Le logement est confortable et propre, joli déco. nous avons apprécié les petits dej et le repas du soir entièrement faits maison par ronan. Cest un passionné de cuisine et des bons produits. Belles découvertes de fromages et vin du pays. Nous avons aimé la proximité de la piscine et des berges pour aller à pieds à chenonceau. Seul petit bémol ,mais les propriétaires n'y peuvent rien, c'est la proximité de la route. Excellent accueil, propriétaires aux petits soins et conseils avisés pour les visites à faire.

Un court séjour idéal en amoureux ! Les propriétaires sont absolument adorables, prévenant, disponibles et de très bon conseil ! Un service 5 étoiles ! La piscine chauffée est un vrai atout! Nous sommes partis le coeur lourd de quitter ce p’tit cocon ! Le village en lui-même dispose de toutes les commodités nécessaires. Nous avons apprécié la proximité avec le zoo de Beauval. Quant à la chambre, il n’y a rien à rajouter, c’est absolument fantastique : deco, literie, propreté...etc Le petit poney, blanche et le petit chat nous manquent déjà ! Nous reviendrons :-)

Superbe petite maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût. On y trouve tout le nécessaire. Elle est idéalement située pour visiter les alentours Chenoneau, Blois, Chambord, Zoo de Beauval, Montpoupon etc... Le petit déjeuner servi est copieux, savoureux et varié ! Les hôtes sont chaleureux et bienveillants. Nous ont donné plein de bons conseils ! Bref nous avons passé une superbe semaine et nous n'hésiterons pas à y revenir.

On a adoré notre séjour dans cette petite maison exceptionnel. Elle est très mignonne, décoration soignée moderne et fonctionnelle mais avec un vrai esprit campagne. L'extérieur, avec ces deux petites terrasses et la piscine fait l'endroit encore plus parfait. Les propriétaires sont très sympa et nous ont bien conseillé sur les activités à faire dans la région, restaurants etc. Cerise sur le gâteau, le petit-déjeuner fait maison, copieux et très très bon :) On la garde dans notre carnet d'adresse !
