We were looking for a place to stay here some of the state parks in this rental fit the bill. Host was very responsive. Place was very clean. Cool to stay in a home that was that old. There’s a lot of interesting history in the area too. Large yard for the dogs. It’s on the Main Street in Society Hill which is a bit busy but quiet inside the house. The screened in porch was a lovely space to eat meals. Would stay here again…

Really nice and historic. Plenty of room. There is even a small fenced in area for the doggie. We enjoyed the stay very much.

The house was a delight and suited us perfectly. The owner commented that she had a new housekeeper but apparently she hadn’t swept the floors. There was a lot of dog hair, and the bathroom was quite dirty. We found cleaner and cleaned the bathroom and went on to have a lovely time 😊just chose not to think about it. The house is very old and interesting...
