About this apartment rental

The Dora Flat Two apartment, Palazzo degli Ambasciatori, is unique, already from the majestic entrance of the building you can breathe the history of early twentieth century architecture, located on the main floor in front of the incredible arch with Coppedè chandelier, which had a certain attitude to the scenography and the fairy tale.
The large entrance hall, the double bedroom, the double living room with library and dining area where the splendid sofa transforms into 2 comfortable beds; the bathroom entirely covered with Siena Yellow marble, original fresco decorations at the top of the elegantly inlaid wooden staircase, which lead to the kitchen, complete with the necessary for a real use, also for families, a room with a French double bed and a bathroom . The whole apartment has original deco finishes: from the windows to the ceilings with original stuccos to the floors beautifully decorated with Venetian blinds. Solid wood furniture that creates a warm atmosphere.
The entire apartment has just been renovated, is equipped with air conditioning, safe, armored room, daytime concierge, wi-fi, TV, heating
Possibility of playpen for babies.

This is a wonderful apartment. Beautiful with lots of charm. Upstairs room has a double bed, there is "day bed" in dining room that converts to a proper twin size bed, and it has a trundle bed that slides out and pops up into another twin bed (we didn't use), and a double bed in a room downstairs with the kitchen. It was getting warm when we were there - aircon upstairs worked great but I can imagine the downstairs room would get hot in the summer- a fan was good for me. Entire place was super clean and well stocked with espresso and basic cleaning. Also great to do laundry that dried fast on the rack. Host was fantastic, met us for check in and check out. Gave us a tour of the place and how to use everything. It's lovely to stay in a nice neighborhood that is away from all the crush of the tourist sites (tho tourists like to see this building too!). Wifi is a hotspot (the reach is not great from one end of the house to the downstairs, but it was good enough for us) but the host also allows you to take it with you on your day - a great perk for not using up data! I would highly recommend staying here. Direct bus from Termini stops right out front of building, Tram goes to Vatican side. Easy to catch taxis or find electric scooters. Lots of restaurants and shops too.

This apartment is amazingly beautiful! The neighborhood is charming and close to grocery, dining and Borghese Gardens. Maria was very helpful in arranging transfers for us as well as helping us with recommendations. We highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Rome!

Upon arrival into the neighborhood Quartire Coppedé the architecture demands attention. One cannot miss the beautiful Fountian as you make your way to the grand archway lit by a magnificent chandelier. The original frescos on the buildings and inside as well out make for an enchanting experience like stepping into the past to the early 1900's. The apartment is spacious and uncluttered, it also has a well appointed kitchen. Our family so enjoyed this location off the beaten path. This part of Rome was spellbinding. There were plenty of restaurant and shops to keep one busy. A taxi was never far away. I must say my favorite piece in this apartment was the kitchen sink, a masterful work of the old world. Our host's Maria and Cosimo were incredibly gracious. The explanation of how things worked and willingness to set up transfers if needed I thought was very generous. I must say that in my experience; our stay here was time well lived. Grazie mille; Ramona and family

Our first time to the Salario district it was amazing. Patrizia was a responsive and thoughtful host. The apt was more beautiful than the photos. Loved walking the neighborhood and to the villa Bourghesi. Great cafes and restaurants in a charming neighborhood outside of the stress of tourists. Central to everything and would love to come back with friends. Thank you Patrizia!
