About this villa rental
Westhaven, a luxurious beachfront vacation rental, is gently lapped by calm waters from Gibbes Beach on the West Coast of Barbados. A mere 5 minutes away is the historic little town of Speightstown, with the most delightful and casual restaurants tempting visitors with their authentic Caribbean cuisine and sea vistas. Don't forget to check out the Gallery of Caribbean Art and Arlington House, a'must-see' interactive museum with audio-visual features of 'Old Barbados'.
Lush gardens usher you through a gateway opening onto the pool deck with a gorgeous view of the sea. The shimmering pool is surrounded by sun loungers with a trickling water feature in tune with the soothing sounds of washing waves. Loungers can be taken down to the seashore through the private direct access to the beach. Serene, crystal-clear waters beckon you to swim, snorkel, and take advantage of several water sports activities. Gibbes Beach meets Mullins Beach to the north, allowing for romantic strolls or brisk walks.
For entertainment, the comfortable living room on the ground floor is outfitted with a flat-screen television, complete with cable. This area opens onto the expansive patio—just the spot for sipping cocktails while admiring a superb sunset. The kitchen's large window opens outwards to the dining area, making it convenient to serve meals, snacks, and refreshing beverages throughout the day. Even partake of a scrumptious meal on the pool deck al fresco, prepared by the villa's chef.
The bedrooms, which have outdoor patios, air conditioning, and en suite bathrooms, are all located on the first floor, except for one situated on the ground level. This was our first visit to Barbados and oh what a lovely trip it has been. Quite frankly, I do not want to leave!! Westhaven Villa is even more exceptional than I was able to see online. Everything was clean, immaculately laid out and simply refreshing. The team at Westhaven was the best - full of great energy. Chef Hasan must have been hand picked by the heavens because his creativity in creating meals for us the best we've ever had hands down - Full Stop. He prepared special meals to honor my teenagers and made national healing tea for my dad's congestion and cough. We are so blessed to have been paired with this dynamic team. Thank you!

What a fantastic stay in the beautiful Westhaven. The villa is faultless, and the staff is amazing, very attentive, helpful and discreet. Angela and Lucine looked after us all and were very thorough with the cleaning and laundry. Special mention to Nickolas in the kitchen, he catered to our every request and served up some fantastic Bajan dishes, the food was so very very good. The holiday as a whole has been an amazing experience we are all so relaxed and recharged. Well done and thank you Team Westahven.

We had a great trip and time, as everyone one here was welcoming and wonderful to us. The food was perfect, plus the great service every night. We wish we could have stayed even longer, but hopefully we will be able to come back someday as we all love Barbados! Thanks again.

Our first holiday abroad in our beloved island of Barbados with our grandchildren. We could not have chosen a better villa. All staff were amazing and made a huge effort to make us comfortable and welcomed. They were amazing with our grandchildren (aged 4 and a half and 14 months). The service and food were second to none. Thank you for making such precious memories.
