About this house rental

The Ranch House is a great place for families and small groups looking for a place to relax and be together in a beautiful location. The Ranch House has full length porches both front and back and a large shaded stone patio between the house and pool in a beautiful setting. It has a fully stocked kitchen and a big dining table for you to enjoy meals together. Sit back and relax in front of fire in the large stone fireplace in the living room on the cooler Texas evenings.
This ranch is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. We love to share what we love so much; nature, wildlife, dark nights for star gazing, quiet, peaceful, very private and secluded.
We are a working horse ranch with access for our guests to enjoy our miniature horses, Moonshine and Smoky, our miniature donkey, Bella and various farm animals. The ranch is perfectly located halfway between Fredericksburg and Kerrville. Both towns are so great with so much to see and do. We are in the heart of the Texas wine country. Enjoy a wine tour or just go explore and find your favorite special spot. I love the Fredericksburg music scene. On any given night you can find very talented artists at 3 or more venues including the famous town of Luckenbach. The pool is shared with other guests on the ranch from 10am-5pm. It is private to the ranch house guest after 5 and is available all day as well.

Overall, the property was great. We loved the country setting with nice views from the backyard! We had some wonderful weather with 80 degrees. The only real disappointment was that the pool was not filled and available...pool

This was the most amazing trip we have had as a family. The property was stunning and Kerri and her family went above and beyond during our stay. We were so blessed to have her daughter Joyce take pictures of our group for a rare full family photo. If you want a little piece of heaven this is the location for you.

The stay was absolutely amazing. The friendly animals, petting area, dogs, horses, hen, goats and pony’s we a plus. Not to mention the view!! Pictures don’t do justice. The host was welcoming and introduced herself in person. The house was clean. Had essentials in the kitchen, rooms and restrooms. Family games and WiFi worked very well. The screened in porch was a plus!! Ping pong table. BBQ pit area was perfect. Fire pit was beautiful. The pool was so relaxing. Felt like ranch heaven. Highly recommend to all.

We brought our family of 11 down for a long weekend, ranging from a toddler to us grandparents. It was perfect for everyone! Communication with the owner was always immediate and helpful. We had to buy a muffin tin because I forgot to bring mine (VRBO's rarely have those) but we found everything else we needed to cook our meals. The pool was wonderful and right outside the back door! It is a shared pool during the day, but there is still plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved getting to pet the local animal friends, and we happened to walk down to the pond at deer feeding time one evening which was fun to see. The drive into either Kerville or Fredricksburg is quick and easy. We were all comfortable and enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others!! Protip if you have a toddler: bring a couple of baby gates. If you have to shut bedroom doors to keep the toddler out, it also effects the air flow and the main living area can get warm. But if you're able to open those doors...problem solved!

We were all so ready for a great creative retreat and the place made the event perfect! We really enjoyed the remoteness of the property. The animals were awesome, and the house was well laid out for us to come together or split up to work on our own projects. It was immaculately clean and very well supplied.

The home was very welcoming and so comfortable with wonderful screened in porch in back with a gorgeous pool and bbq pits as well as a big fire pit. We loved the country location and the beautiful horses and ponies and goats. It was an absolutely perfect vacation home.

This place was so amazing!! Very very clean. Loved seeing all the wildlife out in the evening and at night. The dogs next door would come over and say hi everyday! I missed my dogs I left back at home so it was nice to see the dogs everyday! This property is phenomenal. The sunset we witnessed one evening was like none I had ever seen before. Sitting on the patio every morning having coffee was the highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this property and I will definitely be staying here again.

Kerri’s property is beautiful. Comfortable, clean and incredibly relaxing. It has a well stocked kitchen large living room and spacious bedrooms. It’s our second stay and we are making plans for a third. It was great!

This is our second annual girls trip at the ranch and it was fantastic, just like last year! The host is so friendly and so are all the wonderful animals. If you don’t like peacocks, chickens, deer, miniature horses, goats and dogs, this isn’t the rental for you ;) If you do, don’t hesitate to book this amazing home and enjoy beautiful sunsets and an amazing view by the pool! We went for 2-3 day getaway in the hill country. This home and ranch are even more beautiful once you see them in person, From the time we drove into the ranch we knew that something special was ahead. We rented this for a friend’s 50th birthday. Driving onto the property, we knew that something great awaited us, it was a beautiful drive. Once inside, we realized that the VRBO pictures did not do it justice. Then we walked out to the backyard, pool and sitting area, with a view to die for and couldn’t believe we happened upon such a gem. We can’t wait to go back.

This was a great place for us to visit at Christmas. Fredericksburg is a short drive away and there was plenty to do outdoors to keep our 3 year old and our nieces (ages 13-3 years old) entertained. The mini ponies, lamb and goats were a big hit, as were all the swings. The property itself was well-suited for us (family only visited for a few hours). We had many conveniences that were helpful for our stay.

This was a great property. We were able to spend some quality time as a family for my birthday. We were close enough to Fredricksburg and the wineries, but still secluded enough to relax. We loved the screened porch and spent much time on that. The pool also added to our fun and relaxation. I highly recommend this property... I even got to see a living armadillo!

We had such a nice relaxing time. Kerri was incredible and tended to all of our requests!!! Loved the property!! The house is equipped with everything you need to cook meals, coffee, space to spread out. The enclosed porch was a great place to eat dinner without being in the wind but still enjoy being outside. All the animals were such a treat to our 15 month Grandson. Thank you Kerri for sharing a piece of your world!!!
