Buffet dinner bit overpriced IMO.

The staff made me wait a long while I arrived even after taking extra charges for early check in. The reception experience was slow and unpleasant. At least when we pay extra charges for early check in we should have immediate support but that didn’t happen.

Anything asked was quoted an extra charge. Comparing the experience I had with hotel Sayaji

Location, I travel this route often and I prefer staying with the property.

I think this question is very negative. Can't you change the context as tell me about our property ?? I loved the property..

Food was good, restaurant staff/ valet staff was polite and helpful.So also the staff at front desk. Location was good- easy to find, not too far from Mahalakshmi Mandir.

Housekeeping was very poor. Informing the staff only partly fixed the issues. a. Our room - the door to the shower did not close properly, black fungus like growth on edge of tiles, washbasin / sink was stained. The table in the room had food stains and was not wiped cleaned when we checked in. b. Second day, only one bottle of water replaced, when I called room service for two water bottles, housekeeping responded" We have replaced the water bottles today." When I informed we received only one, they gave only one new bottle. As if A 20 Rupee bottle would bankrupt the property, or a guest staying 2 night spending thousands, would crib over a 20 INR extra charge. They did hand over plenty of coffee/ milk powder / tea packets, when I only needed some coffee. c. Entry to the room - corridor - was dirty, plastic wrapper for electrical tape thrown at multiple locations. d. Minor hiccup - The valet could not locate our car on first morning- they had parked it on the city street overnight, claiming "increased occupancy on Weekend" when we had checked in on Monday. We used to leave early and return late- for visiting places nearby. Therefore did not use other amenities/ facilities (lounge etc) Management needs to pull up their socks. Or Marriott needs to drop this property.
