La Casa de las Chimeneas

My boyfriend and I spent two weeks traveling northern Spain, and this was by far our favorite stay! The accommodation is simply beautiful, with walls of rocks and colorful glass-stained windows. The staff was very welcoming and warm, sharing with us the history of the Casa and giving a tour of the flat and shared spaces. We also loved relaxing by the pool after our hikes, and received all-included pool towels and toiletries. Despite being a little outside of Potes, the Casa offers a really amazing and affordable stay, with an incredible view of the stars (pull-over at a view point 1 min before entering Tudes, on the main road).

The stay was great, just mind your head with the low door frames

La Casa de las Chimineas is one of the most unique and stunning places I've ever stayed! From the handpainted murals on the walls to the jaw-dropping mountain views, it was truly special. The old farmhouse was so nicely renovated while keeping the old-world charm and it was perfect to have separate apartments for the family while sharing a pool and courtyard. Easy to go on walks around the village, which was also stunning. All around such a wonderful experience.

Nothing! But be prepared to cook every meal as there is no restaurant on site and the closest town is Potes, about 20 minutes away.

The beds and furniture are very outdated, and not that comfortable. They don’t provide you with coffee, salt or even paper towels. Be prepared to take everything that you need.
