It’s a lot cooler in the hills and host was friendly

No tv but oh well it’s a great time to pick up a book

This is a nice little cottage with a lot of room to spread around. Bathroom was very spacious and bedroom large. One great thing was to have mosquito nets on all windows, we really appreciated this. We did not use kitchen for cooking so cannot say if it was well equipped. It was sufficient for our needs. Area was pretty quiet but rural so roosters are active in the morning, although it did not bother us at all. There was a pool in the backyard. Unfortunately it did not have water in it for the first couple of days as there were water issues in the area. However, when it was filled. it was very nice to take a refreshing dip after a hot walk from Valencia town. We felt very safe walking in this area, people are very friendly, no issues at all.

Area is not very convinient if you do not have your own transport. There is no restaurants or eateries close by, we had to go to Valencia town for our meals which is about 2 km away from the cottage. If you have transportation then this will not be an issue. A/C is older and quite loud. We tried to use it for the first night and did not sleep well with it on. After that we tried to cool the room before going to bed and then turned A/C off but it was a bit hot too sleep.

We love the place... Itʼs quiet and peaceful. We got to spend and enjoy time together away from the city, people and noise.
