Yazmacılar Hanı Otel Restaurant

The style, ambiance, service and cleanliness were beyond expectations. It’s an old caravanserai/inn in a historic neighborhood and its right by the castle which gives a nice view from rooms.

Good location & nice size room with comfortable bed & bathroom but no air con. Historical old building with character. Some of the staff are nice & helpful but only very few speak English. The lady owner is friendly & helpful.

Be careful with ordering wine, the prices are abusive & not worth it. Avoid it. Check your restaurant bill as you can be overcharged. We were offered to sample some wine by the male owner but then we were charged 180 TLR ($10) for one small sample. He pushed the most expensive wine glass on the list. Also, there is no consistency in pouring. I didn’t appreciate that at all & ruined our rather nice experience at this hotel as we departed. Parking is in nearby location, so you need to walk your luggage for approx 150 meters.

Great location in the heart of the old city. It's a beautifully refurbished caravansaray with a big yard and so with lovely atmosphere. Thw rooms are very big, clean with nice decoration. The staff was very kind and helpfull. The restaurant has great food in very good price. We had a lovely dinner.

Breakfast could be better. The staff speaks english poorly.

Excellent location and it was a very comfortable stay.
