The house was amazing! Clean, in great condition, and well appointed and the beds were really comfortable. The outside spaces with all of the activities for the kids was a real bonus. Jamie was a fantastic host. He replied quickly to my messages and was so accommodating in every way. It was such a great experience!

House was great for a stay involving two grandparents, two couples, and the two kids from each of the couples. The kitchen well stocked & suitable for 4-5 people cooking & eating at the counter. The frige was big enough for the food we bought & leftovers brought from restaurants. The formal living room, family room & dining room allowed space for people to spread out & do different things. We never used the gas grill but the gas fire pit was great for evening s'mores and visiting. Kids enjoyed the hockey net & basketball hoop.The master bedroom was plenty large, w great bathroom, shower & soaking tub, although I think there was a shortage of drawers for clothes storage. Two other upstairs bedrooms had a "Jack & Jill" bathroom that worked well for the 4 kids. The middle upstairs bedroom had en suite bathroom but also had the laundry area, so doing laundry took coordination with the couple in that room. There was also a downstairs bedroom that had a work desk in it, which was handy for the couple in that room, since they were working remotely while on vacation.The only notable shortcoming of the house was the lack of AC. There were plenty of fans, but it took awhile for the bedrooms to cool down at night, although by morning all were quite comfortable.Location was great. Many restaurants & stores w/in 5-15 minute walk through nice neighborhoods. All main Vancouver attractions w/in 20-30 minutes drive except during rush hour. Would recommend for others.

Lovely large home in great Vancouver neighborhood. Our group enjoyed our stay following an Alaska cruise adventure.A few things to note - there are signs of use about the house and property. A number of items merit repair and/or replacement (dishwasher, pull out couch, wine fridge, outside bannister). Owner does gave an onsite office and family makes a number of appearances. Also, previous renter filled garbage and recycling which created an overflow.Owner was very nice and communicated well. House accommodated our part size well.

We came for a wedding, stayed five nights and we picked the perfect spot. So much space and terrifically decorated, very thoughtful amenities. King bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Everything you could possibly want in a kitchen. TV ready to rock and roll, great outdoor lighting. Definitely elated we chose this home...and the wedding was THE BEST, shoutout to my daughter!

Our family stayed here for our son’s wedding. The property was perfect in every way. We had 8 of us plus our 2 grand babies and the house was perfect. Clean and beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were able to host a night before gathering with permission thanks to the owner. The outdoor area was key and everything was perfect. We would recommend this place and definitely would come back. The location is close to everything. A close walk to shops and coffee shops. Brilliant!

This was a beautiful home in a great neighborhood. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to feel at home. Our family was able to walk to bakeries and restaurants in the area feeling safe. We also enjoyed the outdoor patio spaces!

There was a bonus of soccer balls, soccer net, frisbees and hammock that i entertained our grandchildren for hours..

This was the perfect home to accommodate our family of 10 and not feel crowded. It was clean, beds comfy, check in was a breeze and our host Jamie was the best. Had a large well stocked kitchen and dining room that gave us plenty of seating to enjoy our dinners prepared on the grill. Backyard is amazing, again with plenty of seating and fantastic gas fire pit for cool evenings. Great location with restaurants, shops and beach all within walking distant and easy access to the city. We loved our stay at this home and all that Vancouver has to offer. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great vacation home. Communication was excellent with the host. Checkin was a breeze and all the basics we needed were there and available. My family spent multiple hours our in the side yard playing soccer, swinging in the hammock and relaxing under the covered patio. It is obvious that the owners are continuously working to make the home comfortable for the guests.

The house was perfect! We stayed here with 8 girlfriends for four nights. The space was great for hanging out and spending time together. Everyone had enough space. If the weather was better we would have taken advantage of the outdoor space more but it was too cold. The beds were all comfortable and cozy. The location of the home was perfect. Lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Jamie was alway quick to respond and gave helpful information. If I was ever in Vancouver again I would definitely rent this house again. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. 10 out of 10!

In the city for UBC graduation and hosting family and friends. Great entertaining kitchen, bedrooms all have en suites, and a wonderful back yard. Easy walk through lovely residential areas to W Broadway for dinner. Jamie was so quick to reply to any questions we had and was a very kind host. We’re looking forward to staying here again.

It is difficult to know where to start when describing this amazing place. Extended family stayed here for a family wedding and we were blown away with the accommodation, garden and situation of this house. It was sparkling clean and had everything you could think of to make you feel 'at home'. The garden is immaculate with great outdoor living space, we had a bbq and saw humming birds which was a delight! There is easy access to the city and UBC with a bus stop practically on the door step. Jamie was the very best host. We really felt well looked after by him, very responsive and helpful. I could not recommend this place highly enough

Our entire family of nine thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fine home. It is large enough to easily accommodate our number, allowing both privacy and conviviality. Our favourite area was the kitchen/family room where all could gather for drinks or coffee and the dining room next door was fine for large group dining. The location is excellent: easy access to downtown and also close to lovely walking in the Spirit Forest. A real test is that it rained 5 days out of 7 and yet we never felt overcrowded or unhappy about our March week in Vancouver. One problem for a couple of us was that the bedsheets had been washed in a strongly scented detergent but host, Jamie indicated that this would be changed. Finally, Jamie was instantly available if we had any questions. We would most certainly stay in this home again.
