This is one of our favorite places on Planet Earth and we just went back for the third time. It's a two-day trip for us to get there, and fully worth it. Entremares is a place to enjoy nature, read, swim, and relax. We even saw a porcupine! The staff are always so kind and friendly. Entremares was able to accommodate a laundry product allergy for me with advance notice, which I really appreciated. Specifically recommended as safe, welcoming, and comfortable for solo women (lots of women on staff, all staff are respectful, other guests are largely small families, couples, and solo travelers, and the surrounding community is safe). The restaurant has enough variety that we did not get bored in 9 days. The food is freshly prepared to order and we enjoyed it. There is not really anywhere else to eat, so this is important! This is really a special place, and we look forward to going back.
We were, as always, sad to leave.

The location and the accommodation.
Food presentation was a bit poor. The bottle of ketchup in the middle of the plate with the chips around it. That was an example…everything else was more or less ok but it could be much better and I would like to let them know that it was great. Only a bit more effort would make the place better.

Pros: - Location was excellent, beach-front property and very quiet and beautiful - Restaurant food was excellent with a wide variety of choices and fair prices - Staff were attentive and excellent when my husband cut his foot on a rock in the beach surf - The deluxe-seafront rooms were in good shape (comfortable bed!) and had a view of the sea - The staff provided great, clear information prior to our trip and helped us identify bus/taxi options to get to the property.
Cons: - It is VERY hot and humid. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal as we were there to relax but it was intense. I have no idea how hot the regular, non-deluxe rooms off the beach must have been. I followed reviewers' guidance to snag a beachside cabin and was so grateful I did. The large fans (where available) worked well and we were able to sleep comfortably at night. - The taxi driver they connected us did not stick to his agreed-upon price on our return trip and both trips to/from Tonala (1 hour) were in a very old car without AC or seatbelts. I've traveled extensively through Mexico, Central and South America and it counts as one of my worst taxi rides ever. - They need to install fans in the dining area. It was unbearably hot waiting for food to be served. It was the hottest place on the property and we just ate our food with sweat dripping down our faces if we stayed in the restaurant for meals. - The restaurant seating and beachside lounge chairs were horribly uncomfortable. It really took away from the comfort and relaxation of the location. - Bring your own beach towels as they don't provide any or rent any out. It seems like an easy thing to provide either gratis or rental but we had no idea. - Once on the property, no one gave us any info about the property (we speak Spanish) and we were on our own to figure things out and/or ask lots of questions. - There are stray, very-friendly-to-humans dogs on the property. I felt pretty nervous that one of my kids would get accidentally bit by a dog and require rabies treatment in Mexico. I don't know what the property managers/owners can do about it but I wanted to warn folks who may be extra fearful of dogs (we are not).

The cabana is nice.
It was full os sand the next day, bats flying into the room, and noone cleaned it.
