About this house rental

The best of both worlds. This fully remodeled cabin has the cozy cabin feel you crave with the modern amenities that make your stay comfortable.

With use our our lake membership you and your family can enjoy the clean, private and fun of Twain Harte Lake.

Our cabin is only 0.3 miles to downtown. The route is a little hilly but not treacherous. Put on some walking shoes and head down to activities, dinner, drinks/wine tasting or the occasional festivals and parades.

Downtown Twain Harte will surprise you with its quaint feel and tons of activities. During the summer enjoy Twain Harte Lake with our membership or head over to Twain Harte community pool. You will also enjoy several restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream. Epronson park is clean a beautiful with large playground equipment, Bocce Ball, skate park and community garden. It is also right next to the clubhouse entrance for Twain Harte Golf club which is an affordable public course that has the recent addition of disc golf.

Twain Harte is close to many activities in the area. It is centrally located with very little potential of being snowed in. Close to Black Oak Casino, Dodge Ridge, Pinecrest, Columbia State Park, Murphys, Moaning Caverns, Railtown 1897, Sonora and much more. The hostess was amazing and has a beautiful cabin with all the comforts needed for a wonderful stay. The touches in this home are well done...rock, backsplash...gorgeous. The cabin is in such a quiet place, so you can really relax and enjoy your vacation. Just a note: if you walk to town, take the side roads as recommended by hostess. (Ladies- no glamor barbie sandals)...wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the lovely walk. We saw lots a deer... Cant wait to come back!

The cabin has everything including excellent WiFi and every streaming and channel you ever need. This is amazing in Twain Harte! We have rented for years with limited service. This was great to watch the Olympics. The cabin is clean and so cute. And Ashlee was so helpful and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Very nice stay at Ashlee's cabin. It was well-stocked with everything we needed. The decor is rustic and charming. Beautiful stone fireplace. Sectional couch wasn't very comfy for us, but that may be because we are used to recliners. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of blankets and throws everywhere. Lots of firewood was on site. We didn't get a chance to use the grill on the deck but it was very nice to have. Thanks, Ashlee!

We had a great time at Ashlee’s beautiful home. The highlight is the cool living room with a huge rock wood burning fireplace and 50” TV above it. Beds are super comfortable and a great backyard and front of the house deck. A big surprise is the upstairs bedroom on how big and cozy it is. If you want an amazing time in the Twain Harte/Sonora area, Ashlee’s place is is must stay. Tom Dowd

Our group of four adults and two children enjoyed a magical stay at the Twain Harte cabin! The cabin is adorable, spotless and has all the amenities you will need. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck, playing games and taking in the lovely view. Time at the Lake was perfect! Beautiful lake, refreshing water, rafts, slides, swings and the yummy Snack Shack. Playing mini golf was a blast, as well! Brought back many happy memories of times at Twain Harte. We will be back! ❤️

This was the most amazing snowy cabin trip I could have taken my family on! Myself, husband, and 4 kids had a blast on our tiny weekend getaway. The backyard was very large and even though snowed in, we dug a path and made snow slides for the kids with the provided shovels. It was the best thing we could have done! The cabin is very family (children of all age) friendly and homey. Felt right at home with everything needed. Thank you again Ashlee and your Twain Harte Cabin.

Close to Twain Harte. Lake is only open summer months, which was an unfortunate surprise. I had to call and message to get checked in after check in time, which was unfortunate as everything else about this place was great. The stairs leading to the loft are narrow and steep, which was a lil anxiety inducing with a 1.5 and 4.5 year old, but the loft is so well stocked for kids, in fact the entire place is- pack n play, kids silverware and dishes, a whole host of toys upstairs. It's literally the best ready for kids vrbo we've stayed at. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking but there were no sauces (like ketchup/mayo etc). Coffee stuff is well stocked. Utensils cooking stuff well stocked. It's a bit of a trek with small kiddos to downtown, but otherwise easily doable. The backyard also has a small play set for young kids too.

This is our second time to this perfect Twain Harte cabin with our dear friends. The morning’s were so nice having coffee out on the deck and discussing what our plans were for the day. Our evenings were so enjoyable whether we sat inside or out on the deck. The lake membership is a added bonus to this cabin!

We had a fantastic little vacation in Twain Harte and loved the cabin! A short walk to town and a quick drive to the lake. It was really easy to communicate with Ashlee. She answered all of my many questions quickly. My 4 year old loved all the toys and books! We’ll definitely be staying at the cabin next time we visit Twain Harte.

The property was wonderful! It was perfect size for my little family. My kids had a blast! They especially loved all the children’s toys and books that were available upstairs. The cabin was nicely updated in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable which is very unusual for VRBO listings. It had all the creature comforts of home without overdoing it. We enjoyed the deck for lunches in the sun. Communication with the owners was fast and thorough. We appreciate the opportunity to rent this for a great week of family vacation!

We had a great time at the cabin! It was very cozy and well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, playing games, and relaxing. The location is very close to town, which was very convenient. Ashlee was considerate, quick to respond, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We hope to stay again!

Great property with lots of room for family of 5 and an adult couple. The decor really fits the area and sets a great mood. Nice sizes yard. One small issue we had was finding the kitchen light, it's on the bottom of kitchen bar and part of decor, which made it hard to find but we did it!! Also, I think the thermostat was programed to turn off or come on at night, but it was too warm the second night. Overall a great place!
