The property is very nice. The host has stocked it with all the necessary kitchen equipment, and the beds and furniture are in great shape. It was nice to have sauna in the property. The balcony is very pleasant.
There were no bed sheets or towels, and that was not apparent in the Booking.com listing. I received a message just before the stay saying "Please be reminded; towels and sheets are not included to booking". Well, we were already on our trip at that time, and they should have mentioned it front and center in their listing. How do you get bed sheets in Nilsiä in the evening? We figured out it was actually possible to get disposable sheets at the local Tokmanni store (Simolantie 2, 73300 Nilsiä) 10 km / 10 minutes away (we bought the last sets). It worked for us but if we had arrived after hours, then what...? I wonder how many previous travelers had slept on bare mattresses... :-/
