It was quite clean, and the check-in process was easy and automated (the instructions were sent 1 hour before check-in; you need apps to open the doors and enter). It was really warm in the room and in the apartment, and the shower water pressure was good. The utensils and fridge were also helpful.
The wardrobe door in the room was broken. It wasn’t a big problem for us, but still worth mentioning. There was no one available in person to contact in case of an emergency. There was only one shower in the room with the toilet, so there was a queue, especially in the morning. However, everything was manageable and acceptable given the price of the accommodation.

I really enjoyed the location of the hostel and the couple that owned it. The day we arrived, they were around cleaning the place and made sure to say hi and have a chat with us. We stayed in a private room that was more than comfortable considering the price we paid for it.
I think the cleanliness of the shared areas could have been a bit better. When the other rooms were full, the two showers were a little dirty (mostly from overuse and people not properly using the provided shower curtains and bath mats). The floors were a bit wet, and sometimes the drains were clogged from people not cleaning them after their showers.
