The largest upper apartment is wonderful. Great kitchen and dining area and outside balcony, with stunning views. Two toilets are very useful to have. The lower smaller flat is a bit pokey, but it has a great balcony and barbecue area. Parking can be a little tricky, especially as the house parking area (slightly overgrown plot opposite the house) can be easily blocked by cars. The welcoming agent was not too helpful with this issue. However, once we established the parking arrangements (after a minor argument with a neighbouring host), marking the parking entrance with a make shift wooden barrier, everything was fine. The sleeping arrangements are ok, but the entertaining areas are what make the accommodation very good, especially if you plan to eat and socialise a lot at home.
Silo is a bit small, with not much to do there. The 'staff welcome and closure' is impersonal and abrupt.
