Galicia, cabaña junto a un bosque y a Cascada

This is an old finca built in the traditional style, it’s furnished with leftover furniture and random knickknacks. It has the aura of a private country/weekend house turned AirBnb. It has four bedrooms, all crowded with beds; a couple of bathrooms and a full kitchen The large backyard is filled with trees and birds and there are comfy hammocks in the decks around the property. Beds were your standard Colombia hard. The property is very conveniently located between the town and the Cascade del amor owner was very responsive and helpful. And we had hot water.

My main issue is that the finca shares the lot with other rented accommodations so you don’t have privacy or security. The house is also quite dark even with blinds open and totally dark if you need to close them to avoid being seen by strangers. Parking inside the property is quite complicated. The house is probably a good value if you have a large party staying but it was a poor one for just three of us.

Desde la reservación, El anfitrión Sebastián te hace sentir la familiaridad y lo especiales que son. Son súper claros en todo, las instrucciones son detalladas, responde súper rápido a cualquier duda y le dan el valor agregado a cada detalle. Las instalaciones son amplias, limpias, bien cuidadas. Te dejan absolutamente todo e incluso más de lo que uno espera. Normalmente siempre que alquilo algún lugar debemos llevar cosas porque suele suceder que no no hay suficientes cobijas, ollas, cubiertos, o productos de aseo… pero allí está absolutamente todo. Incluso preguntamos por leña para hacer una fogata y en menos de una hora ya la habían enviado a nuestra puerta!!

La ubicación, la limpieza, el ambiente, el acompañamiento de Sebastián, la tranquilidad, la cabaña son excepcionales! Lo recomiendo y volvería siempre a este lugar. Nos encantó!!!
