A really lovely property in a great location.

The property has everything you need and is a real home from home. It’s extremely clean and tidy. The towels are soft and fluffy and the beds are really comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and has a good dishwasher. The location is great, there are some good walks from the house and it’s very quiet with no traffic noise.

The garden wasn’t enclosed for the dogs but we’ve since learnt that there is a temporary gate that can be set up.

Home from home 🩷

We've absolutely fell in love with the place, from as soon as well pulled up in the drive..It very homely, comfortable and clean. We will definitely book again n will be recommending the place to our family n friends....10 out 10 recommendation

Not really a bad thing as this depends on the individuals etc...But due to bad mobility for myself and my mum the only thing I feel that may benefit is some hand rails by the front, back door and in the shower just for extra safety and security in the shower other than that an amazing place...Great place.

Perfect comfortable place to stay can't wait to come back

We have stayed here before so definitely wanted to stay here again and will do in the future too . We where visiting family who stay near by . So comfy and relaxing in this house . Definitely recommend

Can't really say anything . Maby that the back fence is shorter towards the end if coming back in the future with my girl I'll have to keep a closer eye on her if she's out the back

A home from home

This has to be the best holiday home I've ever stayed at, it was spotless, beds really comfy, it really was a home from home, when i booked i know it was touch & go how the weather was going to be and it makes a massive difference when u go on holiday and the suns out, the patio area was so relaxing sitting out in the sun and as it got a bit colder u move into the lovely conservatory, kitchen/bathroom had everything most people would have in their own house, shower (cubicle) was great as well, massive driveway which u could easily get 2 cars on , if u are thinking of coming to the area this place is a must to stay at.

Stranraer Hideaway

The house was fantastic and we hope to book again next year for a longer stay. Spotless when we walked in and our wee dog settled in straight away, she loved it. I was down from Ayrshire to bowl at Stranraer Bowling Club and also entertain there at night.

Beautiful cottage, in a lovely, quiet area, yet walking distance to an array of shops.

If I had to change anything, it would be to have a gate between the back garden & driveway so in warmer weather the dogs would be secure if the conservatory doors were open. But this didn’t apply during my stay.

Beautiful bungalow

This place is beautiful, clean and cosy. Has lots of space Newly refurbished conservatory TV in living room and conservatory Very comfy and homely. Full equipped kitchen. Instructions on how to use TV. Keys were labeled. In a quite area, easy to walk into town or get bus outside into town.

The house was nicely decorated in neutral tones, both bedrooms were of a good size & beds/bedding comfortable and fresh, well equipped kitchen, the house was generally spacious, comfortable and warm. Ann the host was very helpful & quick to respond to requests.

The property was very nice, lean, and cozy. The location is very good if you come by car, otherwise is far to reach it from the bus routes. However, we loved it. Very nice views around, quiet and relaxing place. Good starting point if you want to explore the area around. There are beaches, botanical gardens, castles, and children's playgrounds nearby. We loved it and will be back someday. Thank you.

Very quiet and peaceful location, less than 5 minutes drive to centre of Stranraer for work. Lovely countryside views, great heating [it was snowing during our stay]. Comfortable beds and fluffy towels, everything you need for a relaxing stay. Our host was great with communication prior to and during our visit. Because no new guests were checking in immediately, I was able to check out early evening on our last day at no extra charge. Fantastic customer service, and we would love to return when working in Stranraer again in the future. Many thanks...

Another lovely stay

Leafield Bungalow is a gem of a find. We love it here. (This is our 3rd time) A 2 bedroom house, cosy spacious and clean with a lovely conservatory with tv we enjoyed relaxing in. Nice partial countryside outlook. Everything you would have in your own kitchen is provided...including a slow cooker. Wifi perfect signal for our son It's great getting away , its on a lovely peaceful street. Great change of scenery, even if weather not the best in winter. Lidl , Tesco and Farmfoods close by for shopping. Lovely 7k walk close by, near Wig Bay Caravan park Anne is a great host always answering enquiries quickly
