    Highly recommended for its location. With the beach just a road across, a 24/7 Mini-Mart beside and lots of seafood and other food options nearby. The breakfast was not bad. The swimming pool was big enough and nice with a view. Just not many seats if there’s a crowd. The gym was ok except that the multifunction machine was not working throughout our 4 night stay. The aircon in the gym was not strong. The room we booked was without a view, hence a little dark since we had to keep the curtain closed for privacy as it’s facing the windows of the hotel beside. The room looks older in real life and didn’t really look anything like the photos featured at all but it was clean, the A/C was cold, and the water pressure and temperature were good. We liked that they gave 2 key cards. It was generally good except that most of the staff weren’t quite friendly. They don’t really smile nor acknowledge you. When we arrived no one helped us with our luggage, not to the room either. Do note that you’ll have to carry your luggage up a flight of steps at the front of the hotel as there’s no slope. And the reception area is dim at night.

    I would not recommend Minh Toan SAFI Ocean Hotel, especially because of the extremely poor reception experience we had. The biggest issue was with ***at the reception. Her attitude was extremely unhelpful and, in my experience, she showed zero willingness to understand or accommodate our genuine requests. She appeared to have difficulty understanding English whenever we raised an issue, and instead of trying to resolve things, our concerns were simply ignored. We were travelling with our 11-month-old baby, yet there was no consideration or assistance from her side. The way we were treated at reception was extremely disappointing and made the stay unnecessarily stressful. Another major disappointment is the “My Khe Beach” location/view impression. Please don’t assume that the hotel is directly facing the beach. There is another row of buildings/hotels between the hotel and the actual beachfront, so many rooms do not have the open beach view you might expect. Only a limited number of front-facing rooms appear to have a proper view. There are many better hotels nearby with better positioning and views. On top of this, we were charged 16,000 VND for a small towel/napkin that had only minor, normal dirt/staining. It was the smallest towel, and honestly, some level of dirt on a towel after normal guest use is hardly surprising. I paid the amount only because we had our baby with us and I did not want to create a confrontation at reception. It felt like we were being forced to make the payment rather than the matter being handled reasonably. Also, requests we had specifically made through Agoda were not properly fulfilled, and there was no meaningful effort to accommodate them. Overall, the combination of poor customer service, lack of consideration for guests travelling with a baby, questionable handling of a minor towel issue, and the misleading impression about the beachfront view made this a very disappointing stay. There are plenty of better hotels nearby. I strongly recommend checking the actual hotel position, room view, and guest-service reviews before booking this property.
