We really loved the view from the balcony in this apartment as well as the pool. The apartment complex has two pools you can use which are beautiful and overlook the ocean. The air conditioning works great in the apartment in the bedroom and in the living room/kitchen. The host is very friendly, responsive and accommodating. They work with you to correct any issues and ensure you are happy. When we had a problem, the owner even said if we were not satisfied, he would return the money and we could leave. We didn't end up leaving because the situation got better and the view and central location of this place was just too good! Also, there is a supermarket nearby and an avenue with tons of people and restaurant. It's a great location.

We only had one major issue while staying here which is when we walked in, the place smelled like cockroach spray had just been sprayed or fumigated. The first day we saw 15-20 cockroaches and were ready to leave. We were really disappointed but the owner worked with us and sent over the cleaning lady the next day to clean and spray. They said this was most likely due to a nearby apartment being fumigated or bad weather but we did see an empty bottle of cockroach spray in the apartment which led us to believe this was not the first time they had roaches. Maybe this is something that people may be okay with, but I know that for American standards, it would make most people uncomfortable. After the first day, we saw fewer and fewer cockroaches each day but there were still a few here and there. If a few cockroaches don't bother you, then by all means everything else is almost perfect. Also, it is important to note that there is no hot water in case that is something important to you. Additionally, the internet connection is not good. Honestly my phone service worked better and I had to disconnect from the Wifi. The pool has good Wifi though. I'm being honest and detailed so that you can make an informed decision for yourself whether or not to stay here.
