Views from the panoramic winds in living room, kitchen and dining room were amazing. Owner’s Liz & Chad live across the highway and were very attentive. House is on a working farm which was kinda cool. Three miles to town which was convenient. Positive Pie was an awesome place to eat and drink in Hardwick!! We stayed 7 days and we traveled in all directions and everything to see was less than an hour drive. My wife and I would highly recommend this property if want to see peace and quite with access all that Vermont has to offer! Must see Stowe,VT, covered bridges in Montgomery, VT, and lake Willoughby, Clear Lake & Caspain north of the property. Must eat at Pro-Pig in Waterbury after Ben & Jerry ice cream plant tour and Snow Shoe Lodge & Pub in Montgomery Center, VT on way back from seeing covered bridges built in late 1800’s.

This was a fantastic house for our family of 5 for a winter snowboarding vacation. The house is immaculate and set on a beautiful farm with pastoral views and wonderful hiking trails. You have a tremendous sense of privacy, but still close enough to town to run in for late night groceries. The radiant floor heating kept the entire house very warm despite the sub-freezing outside temperatures. The kitchen contained up to date appliances. House was very clean and fully stocked with linens and towels. The owner of the property, Dan, greeted us in person. Very kind gentleman who was available to answer any questions about the property or the house. But the house was set up very will with no issues. The owner also provided sleds for my boys to enjoy the snow and hills on the property. Just note that the wifi can get a bit slow if you have three kids all competing for bandwidth for videos and online game playing.We truly enjoyed our stay and will come back again in the Summer to hike the many trails on the property as well as again next winter!
