Southern State of Mind

The location was excellent just blocks from Dollywood. We thought the price for our stay was extremely fair for what is offered. The owners did a good job decorating, it’s super cute and the game room with pool table and vintage pac-man/Astroid game console was fun. Perfect for vacationing families with 3 bd and 2 ba. Washer/dryer was a total bonus we didn’t have to lug as many suitcases! Made the stay and travel with 5 people much more enjoyable! Also we loved the rocking chairs on the porch in the mornings. And the management company was super responsive we had two minor issues with a backed up drain and chirping smoke detector they arrived at 9 pm to fix the detector (15 mins after I called) so we could sleep comfortably, I was very impressed. There’s a pizza parlor and a convenience store within walking distance.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like but, suggest couple of throw blankets maybe in a basket in the living room would have made mornings on the porch or evenings on the couch more comfy. Parking was limited an suv and compact car is max. We had an suv, but many other visitors had multiple cars so I thought this info would be helpful.

The location was perfect! Close to everything without being right on the strip.

The parking area wasn't very large. We were only able to park 2 vehicles at the cabin.

Beds were terrible. Way too high. I had to use a chair to climb into bed. My daughter fell out of bed twice
