O..C.. Lux Apartments

Everything was great, comfortable beds and a brilliant location. Quiet, roomy and clean.

Just we thought parking was included - maybe that’s on me for not reading something properly - but then being told it was €8 a night but it was €15.

We booked a two-week stay at this property and were completely satisfied. Because it was a long-term stay, it was important to us to have access to laundry—fortunately, the property has a shared washer and dryer in the common entrance area. Detergent was also available, though I don't know if that's always the case. We also loved having the shared coffee maker in the common space (I think we were the only ones who used it). In general, the property was clean, well-equipped (with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and toilet paper), and tastefully decorated. The curtains blocked out light in the morning, the noise level was fine (you can hear some other residents in the courtyard during the day, but it's very quiet at night), there are waste bins in both the bathroom and dining, and the bed was firm and comfortable. Our particular unit didn't get a lot of natural light because it faced into the courtyard. This is unavoidable, and it didn't cause any issues for us. In fact, it probably made the stay quieter. The unit is also very secure. I traveled with my husband, but I would have felt 100% comfortable staying as a solo female traveler. The building itself is locked; there is a second key for the shared apartment entrance (where the coffee maker and laundry are), and a third key for your room. It's all very safe and secure. The owner's daughter met us at the entrance to hand over the keys personally. She speaks fluent English and answers questions over WhatsApp. Location: If I could have moved it just slightly closer to Old Town, I would have, but that's only because it was a hot 15-minute walk whenever we went to Baščaršija. ;) Fortunately, there are plenty of restaurants and shops, as well as the Sacred Heart Cathedral) along the way. In fact, we appreciated the apartment's neighborhood more than we expected. Just around the corner is a small supermarket and park.

The apartment was cozy and clean, with all the necessary amenities and in a very strategic position (ca. 10 mins from the old town)

Maybe the sound isolation wasn’t the best, but it was still ok
