About this villa rental
Holiday house located 2 km from the town of El Gastor, in the Sierra de Cádiz, province of Cádiz, Andalusia.
This country house has been recently restored and features rustic décor with beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a loft with two single beds, ideal for families of two adults and two children. The house also has a bathroom with a shower, as well as a spacious living room with a fireplace and a fully equipped American kitchen. It has air conditioning in the living room, which is automated so that it works exclusively when the house is occupied, since its control is linked to the house keys. It also has central heating.
The outdoor area honors the town where it is located, because it is an authentic balcony overlooking the Sierra de Grazalema.
From the porch you can also enjoy how the sun makes its way to the town of Gastor in the morning, accompanied by the soundtrack of different birds that live fluttering among the tall trees that surround the house.
For sunsets, we recommend the terrace, the spectacle of colors offered by the sun hidden behind the mountain is a true wonder. But there is still more, the star mantle is the perfect lighting to liven up pleasant summer nights.
In addition to the terraces, in this area is the barbecue and the private saltwater pool, which receives the sun throughout the day. It also has private parking. The access is paved, by mountain roads.

Nuestra intención era pasar una semana de relax y lo conseguimos, gracias al entorno. La casa es fiel a lo que se ve en las fotos, está muy bien equipada y sobre todo, muy limpia. Los propietarios son muy amables y atienden rápidamente siempre.

Wir waren beres zum zweiten Mal in dem Haus, weil es uns beim ersten Mal so gut gefallen hat. In seiner traumhaft einsamen Lage mitten in den andalusischen Bergen und mit seiner liebevollen und perfekten Einrichtung ist es das schönste Ferienhaus, das wir bisher kennengelernt haben. Antonio ist ein superfreundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Außerdem haben wir die zahlreichen Möglichkeiten zu Unternehmungen und Ausflügen geschätzt: El Gastor, Ronda, Ruinen von Acinipo, Malaga, El Caminito del Rey, Cueva Pileta. Cueva del Gato (für Ostwind-Fans: Das ist die "Quelle von Ora"), Reiten bei "Caballos y Vino", Hacienda Buena Suerte (Ranch von "Pferdeflüsterin" Kenzie Dyslie) sowie

De locatie en de woning zijn werkelijk top, alles was prima geregeld en de eigenaar was uiterst behulpzaam en zeer vriendelijk. De weg naar het dorp El Gastor was gedurende ons verblijf gedurende een paar dagen afgesloten i.v.m. werkzaamheden en de eigenaar heeft ons aangeboden om benzinekosten te vergoeden omdat er elke keer 10 km omgereden moest worden. Dat hebben we afgeslagen, omdat het niet zijn schuld was. Het contact met Jose Antonio was heel snel via Whatsapp, hij reageerde direct bij vragen en hij hield ons op de hoogte van de ontwikkelingen (bosbrand in het zuiden van Spanje). Tijdens ons verblijf is de wifi modem vervangen en werkt nu op glasvezel, waardoor de snelheid tot 20 x toenam.
De faciliteiten van het huis en het zwembad (o.a. ligstoelen) waren gewoonweg top en het uitzicht op de omgeving schitterend, lekker buiten ontbijten voor het huis.
Een echte aanrader voor mensen die de drukte willen ontvluchten en heerlijk willen genieten van deze schitterende locatie (met steden als Sevilla, Malaga, Marbella, Ronda en Jerez de la Frontera en de verschillende witte dorpen op redelijke afstand).
