Great stay

Property was beautiful and the staff were very nice. We even hiked to Krimmlr waterfall from the property. Food was very tasty here as well.

Had some small allergies from dust or something as it’s an old building, but only minor.

Very nice and cosy family hotel. Location in the middle of the big meadow, great views around, superb breakfast, very nice owner. Spent 2 nights, visited waterfalls and than left the car and went for a cycling tour AlpeAdria.

Superb

Martin is a very friendly young host, he did his best to make us comfortable. Perfect room, in the sun whole day, floor heating in the shower, a cosy and very pleasant place. Plentiful breakfast. For dinner there was no "a la carte" menu but a fixed one (meat/vegetarian). We had plans to eat elsewhere but the fixed menu looked too good to skip it. So we ended up eating both nights in the pension and there were no regrets, the food was delicious. From the pension you can get easy access to several ski areas, hikes in the nature, a beautiful waterfall and a swimming pool. Enough to enjoy in the region.

A home away from home

Finkenhof was everything I wanted from a vacation in the mountains and so much more. If you are looking for a lively town with lots of shops and a pumping nightlife within walking distance, this is not the place. I wanted to be in nature and do lots of mountain hiking as day trips from a comfortable family hote. I really like how they have renovated the rooms and hallway while decorating it with pictures and possessions that have been in the family for ages. The room was inviting and clean, breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the views from my balcony were amazing. Finkenhof is the perfect place to start your hikes, bike rides or day trips from to places like Krimll waterfall, Zell am See, Grosglocknerstrasse. Martin is a very young but passionate and talented host who makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. It is wonderful to see how he continues the Kaiser family tradition of offering their guests an authentic Austrian experience in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Honestly nothing! If dinner were an option (in the winter it is I think), I would have eaten at Finkenhof at least a few nights though.

It ´ a beautiful house built in original country style. We really appreciated the equipment which corresponded with the concept of building. The room we stayed in, bathroom and toilet were maintainted and utterly clean. Breakfasts were delicious, there were many options to choose from, everything plenty. There is a road approximately 300m near the house. There are Zillertal Arena and Wildkogel Arena (you can use your skipas in both arenas) close to the accommodation. There is a unique toboggan run which is 14 km long. We spent the whole day tobogganing there and it was fantastic. The host Martin is very pleasant and nice person. Although we are trying to change the places we visit, we definitely want to come back here again!

Sehr günstig gelegen...ob Ski fahren oder Langlauf...leider ist die Skibus Haltestelle ein bisschen weit entfernt.
