My wife and I chose this property for our week-long anniversary getaway vacation. Health and fitness are extremely important to us, and we work out and run multiple times each week. For that reason we only considered properties with on-site gyms, and the pictures of the gyms in the listings (showing their size and how well they were equipped) carried just as much weight in our decision as the descriptions and pictures of the other amenities. Your listing listed a gym among the amenities, and that gym looked spacious and well-equipped in the pictures. Imagine our shock when we arrived late Saturday afternoon for a week-long stay, after a 4 1/2 to 5 hour drive, when we were informed at check-in that the gym is ONLY available to rental guests on the weekend, and is reserved for the exclusive use of owners Monday through Friday! We were angry to say the least. That is very important information which absolutely should have been in the listing. Had we known this, we would have chosen a different property for our vacation - that's how important it was to us. At that point, having already paid for the rental, and being well past any cancel/refund deadline, we were stuck. We were able to use the gym on Sunday, then our only option was to purchase day passes at a local gym to be able to work out. Suffice it to say, we were not happy with this. The condo itself is very nice overall, but there are a few areas of need. The mattress and foundation are pretty worn out, and squeak loudly, especially on the side closest to the exterior wall. I was awakened by loud squeaks every time I moved during the night. Very annoying! I would certainly recommend replacement. The kitchen could use some additional forks and spoons, and there was only one steak knife. Also, in case you're not aware, the dishwasher is extremely loud. In fact, its the loudest dishwasher I've ever heard. At home, we run our dishwasher with all the day's dishes when we go to bed at night. We tried that on vacation, but quickly had to turn it off. From that point on, we would start it during the day when we were leaving the condo. I hope this feedback is helpful.
