The chateau is beautiful. The rooms are unique and comfortable. Food was great
Bathroom was quite dusty and the desk chair was very low. Quite uncomfortable when you have to take some calls from the desk.

Beautiful building. Quirky design. Easy parking.
Strange place. Facilities are appalling (the gym was laughable). Everywhere is dark, really dark. Hotel room was freezing. Staff are mediocre. Perhaps it’s better in summer.
Constant phishing attacks after their system was hacked. No apology.

The staff and rooms were first class ( but please don’t send octogenarians up to the London room). Unfortunately, the hotel seems to pride itself on having dim lighting everywhere. In the bedroom you can’t read or distinguish items left lying on furniture - that basic tenet needs a revue. The food was of a high standard and the breakfast buffet was exceptional.

Very luxurious and beautiful rooms
Not close to anything else, grounds need developed. Lacked a little atmosphere

In a word - fantastic. Lovely helpful staff, beautiful decor and food. Comfortable bed and not at all stuffy- which some 5 star hotels (esp in UK) can be. We had a faultless stay. We left a couple of things which were posted on to us, and one of the porters helped clean my car (after what looked like an elephant had been in the tree above!)
Magnifique!

Looked fantastic, lovely garden to explore and refreshing pool.
Service in the restaurant wasn’t on a par with prices charged.

Liked the maharaja apartment and wandering around the gardens.
Evening waiting service didn’t feel 5 star. Service could be improved, some tables very close together. Kitchen provided in apartment but very limited equipment eg no knives to cut up fruit.

Plenty of room, wonderful spaces in/around the suite as well as to explore around the property. Garden was a joy to explore Wish we'd stayed for breakfast, since the selection looked amazing, and wish we'd spent some time around the pool as well
The stay was great - no complaints

Hotel was amazing and the room was out of this world. The best room we have ever stayed in!! Staff were amazing especially Alex who went above and beyond.
The hotel grounds and pool were outstanding and we cannot wait to come back!
We booked this hotel as a little honeymoon after our wedding in France and I told the hotel this multiple times yet on arrival there were no mention of this or any gesture during our stay which is poor for a 5* hotel and being such a special occasion for us.

It is beautiful, the rooms are romantic and gorgeous welcoming staff, they went out of their way to accommodate what they could
They did not have air conditioning in the restaurant and entire first floor - and only marginal ac for some of the rooms, but understandably it was during an extreme hot spell out of their control. Dinner room was beyond hot n sweltering to enjoy- even at latest time possible - again weather is out of their control but ….

Such a lovely place, our room was gorgeous, the staff were amazing and the dinner was delicious. We laid by the pool, strolled the gardens, took drinks on the terrace and had a massage at the Spa. Everything was outstanding and the staff couldn't have done more.

Like the history and splendor of the place as well as the gardens.
Staff was fantastic.
Wish pool was heated. 😊
Dining room got a bit warm at dinner. Some air circulation would help.

we loved the room (Mongolia, with love) the staff, the grounds, the entire chateau. breakfast both days were fantastic.
two things were really poor:
1) the room next to us let their door slam so many times, our bed moved every time the door slammed. It was quite aggravating at the 15th or 20th time.
2) the dinner was not up to the standard as the rest of the chateau, it was really disappointing.

Really quirky and great decor. Tasting menu was fabulous in the evening. Lunch menu was limited. Wouldn’t be a place for children

Everything. The Chateau is impeccable. Full of class and wonderful beautiful artistic touches. Generous rooms and extras. And a team that took extra special care of our family with a 2-year old. And the gastronomy was delightful. Highly recommended if you are ever in Nantes.
Not being able to stay more than one night. It was service experience perfection.

The design, the staff and the level of service, the size of the room and the comfortable bed
The restaurant is not active. It was possible to sit at the bar, but not so comfortable for a meal and the selection of dishes at the bar is very limited

the property is incredible. stunning, and so many things to do and discover on-site. we stayed at the 1001 nights suite, highly recommended; the last building standing after the castle was burnt in the French revolution.
The staff was amazing! Laurent was great as well as all of the staff who attended us during our stay.
We will definitely return!

Beautiful room and lounge, restaurant with a good quality of products.
Disappointed about the spa: the private hour was not worth the money, and no possibility to refresh (quite a suffocating experience).
The service in the restaurant was kind but lacked seniority and real knowledge.

Exceptional staff, Beautiful property and beautiful grounds.
The room was very hot with no way to cool. The window did open but was quite small and did little. Stay was in October, it was not hot outside.

An unforgettable luxurious night in a stunning chateau. My only regret was that I did not get to stay longer than one night — I will absolutely return. The chateau is easily accessed by taxi from the train station. From the moment I arrived, I was in awe of the experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating (even in English), and the entire property is stunning. I treated myself to dinner at the restaurant, and had one of the best meals of my life. I deeply regret only ordering the four-course menu instead of the seven-course. Give this chef a Michelin star! I also enjoyed an hour in the spa (40 Euros I believe), which was extremely relaxing — you get a private room with a sauna, steam room, and hot tub. Make sure to leave time to explore the property, which is quite large and designed for visitors. I have been thinking about my stay here every day since I left, and I cannot wait to return.
