Welcome to Red Cedar 16, a spacious Sunriver retreat designed for big families, close friends, and the kind of gatherings that become traditions. With 7 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and room for up to 16 guests, this home gives everyone space to spread out while still feeling connected. It is dog-friendly so the whole family can settle in and enjoy time together.
Inside, the heart of the home is the open great room, where generous seating, a cozy gas fireplace, and an easy flow between the living room, dining area, and kitchen make it simple to gather. Share long meals around the banquet table with seating for 12, linger over coffee in the morning, and end the day with a movie, a game night, or a soak beneath the pines in the private hot tub.
The gourmet kitchen was made for feeding a crowd, with a gas stove, double ovens, two dishwashers, and a large side-by-side refrigerator and freezer. Whether you are preparing a holiday meal, packing lunches for a day on the mountain, or cleaning up after a full house dinner, this kitchen keeps group travel feeling easy.
The layout offers thoughtful privacy for multi-family stays, reunions, and mixed-generation trips. On the main level, you will find a queen bedroom with views and a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, a king bedroom, an additional full bathroom with a shower, and a laundry area with double-stacked washer and dryer. Upstairs, two separate wings create natural separation. One wing includes a bunk room with an attached Jack-and-Jill bathroom, a queen bedroom, and a king ensuite. The second wing features a loft for games, puzzles, and kid hangouts, along with two king ensuite bedrooms.

This property was perfect for our large group of 12. Accommodations and amenities/supplies (kitchen/bathrooms) helped make the stay very comfortable. Great location! Staff was super helpful and responsive.

In general the property worked out well for our multi-generational family of grandparents, adult children and grandchildren. My only complaint was on the limited number of serving plates and glasses. The property slept 16, and we had 16 12 adults and 4 teenagers at the property. Yet, there were only 12 plates, and 12 bowls. Also only 7 wine glasses. That has not been an issue in other similarly sized VRBO's we've rented.
