Super comfortable and wonderful outlook and location.

The apartment is large - 3 BRs and 2 toilets. The outlook from the deck is superb. Aquileia is located in the centre of a fascinating region and we ventured out each day. The Basilica in Aquileia is fascinating - equal to anything you see in Rome with no queues.

We could have done with some dishwashing pods but otherwise it was remarkable.

Excellent apartment in a beautiful region

This spacious apartment has been the most comfortable we've stayed in on our three month European holiday. It was large, very clean, had a fully equipped kitchen and a great private terrace overlooking the beautiful church and surrounds. The apartment was cool and air conditioning worked well during our hot August stay. We were provided with a private parking space and bicycles for this flat, bicycle friendly region. Communication with the owners was excellent and they responded to any needs we had efficiently. Our stay was peaceful and relaxed and August holiday crowds were almost non existent. Aquieilia has a lot to offer, if you are interested in Roman and Medieval art or the extensive wetlands. Grado, which is just 10ks away, is a busy fishing port with a wonderful old town and early Christian churches. One can take the ferry from Aquileia to Grado along the canal and at Grado take the Ferry to Trieste. Yes, the bells toll at 6am and 8pm but we loved and got used to them. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would definitely return.

extremely disappointing and exhausting

Apartment not adapted to sleep. loud party music / concert just in front of the building until midnight. People yelling in the restaurants just under the windows until late at night. the church bell rings during 5 minutes at 6 am so loud that you jump out of bed. the noise resonates under the roof. earplugs don’t help. the owners don’t care, their answer “this is how it is”. booking.com client service doesn’t care either that the most basic requirement of the acomodation: sleep is not fulfiled.

Lack of sleep. allowing people less than 6 hours of sleep is against human rights a d is a torture. our children were crying. ignorance from the host and lack of customer support from booking.com. we left earlier (did not get any reimbursement) and booked a proper hotel room via expedia

due to the bad weather, we stayed in more than anticipated. My only criticism is the sofa. perfectly fine for occasional seating, but for prolonged lounging, it was the only weak link in an otherwise exceptional stay

Exceptional

Apartment was absolutely excellent! Perfect location, unbelievable views from terrace, nice and quiet. Very good pizza and sweets just few steps from the flat. Key location for the sightseeing… Nice interior design, we felt like at home :) We hope we will come back in future again!

Sofa in lounge uncomfortable. Not enough seating if you are a larger party. Risk of hitting head on extractor fan in kitchen area.

Lovely and perfect

- 2 free parking lots in the inner courtyard and 2 free bikes - very clean - comfortable beds (also in the smallest room) and enough towels - perfect location (in the middle of ancient Aquileia, next to the cycleway to Garda) - very simple check-in and check-out - excellent rooftop terrace with great view on the basilica - completely renovated apartment with lovely details

- In the smallest room there lack some hooks on the wall. - There is an air conditioning in one bedroom and another one in the corridor between bedroom 2 and 3. Thus, bedroom 2 and 3 have to leave their doors open when they want air conditioning. But this was not a problem for us in the beginning of June.

Absolut herausragende Ferienwohnung mitten im Weltkurturerbe. Geräumig, bequem, Innenhofparkplatz und ein Freisitz mit unverbautem Blick auf die Welterbestätten, mehr geht nicht. Ohne Frage die tollste Ferienwohnung, die ich in mehr als einem halben Jahrhundert an Reisen erleben durfte. Zudem eine aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die bei Problemen immer hilfreich wäre. Es gibt aber keine Probleme, sondern nur großartige Ausflüge nach Grado, Venedig, Triest..........

Dass wir nach einer Woche wieder gehen mussten. Deshalb: gleich wieder gebucht!

Super mooie locatie, fijn, ruim en modern appartement met privé parkeerplaats.

Als we dan toch iets moeten melden; een wasmachine zou handig zijn. En enkele basis producten zoals peper en zout in de keuken zou fijn zijn.

Top appartement op een toplocatie, niet verder zoeken!

De ligging van dit appartement, midden in het historische centrum, recht tegenover de basiliek, is geweldig! Heel fijn dat er een privé parkeerplaats bij zit. Het appartement is heerlijk ruim, van alle gemakken voorzien, we hebben genoten. Er zijn zelfs twee fietsen, waar je gebruik van kunt maken.

Wunderbar

Wunderschönes geräumiges Apartment mit allem was man braucht, in allerbester historischer Lage von Aquileia. Sehr gute moderne Ausstattung, tolle Betten, es waren auch Spiele vorhanden, Fenster mit Fliegengitter etc. Sehr empfehlenswert! Konditorei, Pizza und Basilika gleich unterhalb bzw. nebenan. Laut war es nie. Für große Autos ist ein öffentlicher Parkplatz gleich nebenan, kostet aber 16 Euro am Tag. Die Zufahrt zum hauseigenen Parkplatz über einen schmalen Fußgängerweg ist nicht für alle KFZ ideal.

La distribution des pièces, la situation du logement, places de parc sécurisées, tranquillité durant la nuit, mise à disposition de bicyclettes

L'équipement de la cuisine et vaisselle était un peu restreint (pas de chiffon ou papier ménage pour nettoyer les surfaces), brosse pour nettoyer le WC impropre, buses de la douche-massage bouchées.

TRAUMHAFT auch wenn man etwa tiefer in die Tasche greifen muss. Es ist gut eingelegtes Erlebniss.

Die Wohnung hat eine Traumlage. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll ausgestattet, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Eine Flasche vom guten Wein hat auf uns gewartet. Die Tropfen haben wir auf der Terrasse mit einem fantastischen Blick auf die Basilika genossen. Aquielia hat eine sehr gute Lage zu tollen Ausflügen. Super alles toll.

Casa Vistantica Aquileia ist ein wunderbarer Platz für einen Urlaub in Friaul-Julisch Venetien

Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an wohl gefühlt, das Appartement ist sehr geräumig, sehr schön ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Gastgeberin hat sich sehr nett um uns gekümmert und jede Frage beantwortet, jeden Wunsch umgehend erfüllt. Herzlichen Dank nochmals !! Die Terrasse ist sehr groß und bietet Platz zum Essen und zum Relaxen. Der direkte Blick auf die Basilika ist ein zusätzliches Highlight. Die angebotenen Fahrräder haben wir gerne genutzt, um nach Grado zu radeln. Die Möglichkeit, das Auto im Hof zu parken ist ebenso angenehm wir praktisch. Die Pizzeria und Pasticceria im Erdgeschoss des Hauses waren einen Besuch wert und sehr praktisch und gut. Die 6 Uhr Glocke der Basilika (was uns bewusst war) spart den Wecker ( :-) aber wir wollten ohnehin die Tage voll nutzen und als Frühaufsteher war das auch im Urlaub kein Hindernis. Die Lage des Appartements ist in jedem Fall toll um die gesamte Umgebung zu erobern, für Ausflüge von Triest bis Venedig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Es fällt uns nichts dazu ein.
