Gite Riquewihr "C'est Beau la Vie Alsace"

This property was the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. Absolutely spotless. It was decorated in true Alsastian flare - lots of character and pastel colours. The property was located perfectly for both exploring Riquewhir as well as other areas of Alsace. We seemed to only be an hour away from every direction we wanted to go. The view over the vineyards was very picturesque to wake up to each day. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the village bakery each day for delicious croissants. Parking at the property was a bonus as on the weekends the village gets very busy and would be difficult to fine a parking spot. The hosts kindly made dinner reservations for us on the first night as we were arriving late - very much appreciated. Although they lived below us and could be contacted if we needed assistance, we had our privacy at all times. They also left us a welcome bottle of bubbles and some delicious homemade madeleines - very thoughtful.

As we were staying for 7 days, we probably could have been left more than a couple of dishwasher/washing machine tablets but this is minor. Although, it should be noted that there is basically no mini supermarket in the town which includes purchase of milk, etc so running out of incidentals is a bit of a task. There are supermarkets of various sizes available nearby but one needs to drive to them. Maybe a small container of milk could be added to the welcome pack.

De gite heeft een toplocatie , het is er heel proper en gezellig ingericht. De eigenaars , Irène en Jacques, zij super lieve en vriendelijke mensen.

Er valt niks op aan te merken.
