This is a stunning four-bedroom condo at the luxurious Villas at Cortina in Mountain Village, the latest luxury project in the area. The Villas at Cortina are located slopeside with direct ski-in/ski-out access.

This home is accessible via the elevator and is located on the fifth floor of the Villas at Cortina. Upon entering this condo, guests are welcomed into a large living room space with vaulted ceilings showcasing the western views and a gas fireplace. A small outdoor terrace is also accessible from this room.
Continuing down the hall, there is a small powder room before entering the main living space. The great room includes a fabulous family room, dining room, kitchen, bar and terrace. The living room is highlighted by soaring ceilings, inviting furniture, a gas fireplace, flat screen TV and built-in cabinets. Large bright doors lead to an outdoor terrace with western views of the ski slopes. A small bar with a wine fridge is also located in the living room.
The living space is open to the dining room, which has panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. The light, airy space has a large dining table that seats up to eight people. Adjacent is the kitchen, which has expansive counter space, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances and a small breakfast bar that seats two.
Upstairs consists of the entire master suite. To the left of the stairs is the master bedroom, which features windows on three sides. A king bed, flat screen TV and a private terrace all add to the ambiance of the room. To the right of the staircase is the master bathroom, which has a large walk-in steam shower with overhead rain shower head, a stunning bathtub and two separate vanities.

Excellent ski in ski out location. This unit in particular was perfect for this because a shorter walk in ski boots. The property and decor are gorgeous! The fireplaces are warm and beautiful. There are essentially 2 master bed & bathrooms. I was pleased the downstairs room had the fireplace because I really wanted this and it allowed me to sleep on the same floor as our daughter while giving our friends the true upstairs master. The property manager was available 24/7 and helped us at check in. The property is a longer walk to the market than where I’ve stayed before, but it isn’t bad and they include dial-a-ride if needed (eg to get back up the hill). The only reason for not 5 stars across the board is the water heater went out on the last day. Those things can happen though, so it really isn’t their fault.

Due to no fault of the villa, Telluride ski patrol shut down skiing. Our main purpose for the trip was to ski. The villa is great, would normally be ski in/out. We left early to head back to the front range.

This condo is amazing. Just like (or better than) the pictures. Views are amazing, Unit in great shape. Worked really well for our party of 2 families. True ski in/ski out. The dial a ride around the mountain village makes everything within an easy drive without worrying about a car. Nothing bad to say at all. Would stay again.

A work in progress that needs much more progress. Sleeps 8-10, Feeds 2-3.This three level home is well constructed, with spectacular views. But there are some odd incongruities here. For example, the main bedroom has terrific views, but is not directly connected to its bathroom and closet, so to reach the toilet, you have to go through several doors, and through a stairway that is open to the living room a floor below. This would be fine if only one or two people are in the house, but the lack of privacy feels strange when others are awake in the living room. And for a home with four large decks, it’s just odd that only two of them had any furniture (two chairs and a small table) to enjoy the view in 70 degree weather. And one evening – after a full day of spring skiing – there was zero hot water for any of us to shower. However, we called the property manager who was very responsive and the plumber arrived the next day to fix the issue. But the biggest problem is the kitchen which is ridiculously under-provisioned with cookware: It was challenging for us to even cook a simple meal for the five of us. Where are the big pots and pans? Heaven knows how one could make breakfast for 8-10 people. Plus, many of the glasses and serving dishes were chipped or broken. How did the cleaning crew not notice? Humorously, the toaster only toasted one side of a slice of bread. In sum, this condo feels like an incomplete project.
