Only a few steps separate you from the town center with a bakery and other shops, café, tavern and restaurant. It is also only a two minute walk to the beach. Start the day with a leisurely breakfast on the balcony or the covered terrace. Afterwards you can spend nice hours on the approximately one kilometer long beach of the place or start a hike to the Pantokrator, the highest mountain on Corfu. It rises directly behind your holiday home. On the steep northeast coast of the island of Corfu, Barbati is located on a relatively busy coastal road. From there, cul-de-sacs lead down to the pebbly beach of Barbati - here you can escape the hustle and bustle and take a dip in the clear water. A very good spot for snorkelers. On a clear day you can see from the village across to Corfu town, the Venetian fortress and the harbour. On the opposite bank you can see Albania and the Greek mainland on the horizon. Activities nearby: The pool in the Barbati Beach complex is 50 meters away and you can use it free of charge. The picturesque place of Barbati is characterized by both mountains and sea. The extensive beach consists of sand and white stones and flows into the crystal clear water. Barbati is the first village of the most bay-rich and special stretch of coast of the island. An ideal area for snorkeling and diving in the sea but also for hiking in the mountains. For your excursions on the island you can organize a rental car or take the public bus to Corfu (1st floor).
