DSK Hotel

We were aware of some of the bad reviews when we booked this hotel, and while we can't vouch for the experience of other people, our experience was very positive. Looks old-style but the rooms we got were clean and renovated, and they've been getting cleaned every day (no joke). You have to pay a few euros extra for the AC but it was surely worth the shot. The location is good, quite close to the seaside and even to the centre, the full-board wasn't like you'd be eating in a 5-star hotel, but more than decent for the money you pay. As very picky people when it comes to eating, we always had something to eat. Surely, some of the food wasn't really high-quality, but don't go for the junk food, choose the healthy stuff and you'll be fine. The staff was kind and helpful.

It's very hard to say anything bad about a hotel that has such a high value-to-money ratio, but maybe it's worth mentioning the guy who was serving the salads, that he shouldn't really work in this niche if he's so angry on everyone. So again, if you want to compare this hotel to a 5-star one, you'll probably find a lot of cons, but I rate it as a 1-star hotel and a very inexpensive one. And it is top-notch for the money, much much better than we expected.

The place is great, very near to the beach, with a great view. The staf was friendly and helpful, every time I had a question. During out stay, they cleaned our rooms almost every day. Food was good, at least to my taste and the people I was with, and diverse.

Maybe the rooms are just a little bit small and there is only one wardrobe and no nightstands. These are the only two things, and they might not apply to all the rooms.
