Paeonia Arachova

The hospitality was nothing short of perfect. A charming family-run boutique hotel with a magical atmosphere, beautifully and tastefully appointed rooms, and a perfect and indulgent breakfast, homemade with incredibly healthy and delicious ingredients. We felt more like we were in Paris than in Greece, especially because the pastries were truly exceptional. The jams were homemade by Dana’s husband, the owner of the hotel. Dana’s hospitality was warm and welcoming, and we genuinely felt as though we had been welcomed into their home. The service was simply perfect! Dana gave us excellent recommendations and information about the area, always with the sincere desire to make our holiday as wonderful as possible. I would absolutely love to come back here, and I’m sorry we stayed for only one night. Highly recommended!

This pension is located close to the eastern entrance to Arachove, a little off the main road. I was a bit hard to find at first but we managed on a second attempt. The owners were super kind and did their best to make us feel welcome in their pension and in the village. Dana gave us a priceless recommendation for dinner in the fantastic "To Tsoukali" restaurant - NOT TO BE MISSED! The room was large and well equipped, beds were comfy, with two balconies overlooking the magnificent mountain views. Breakfast was great and generous too. All in all - I only have good things to say about this lovely establishment.

Everything at Paeonia Arachova is just so, and just so right. Impeccable decor that is somehow both intentional but not over-designed, sweet shared space (that I wish we could have taken better advantage of), and a stellar location. Donna was beyond kind and facilitated every need. The restaurant she recommended was stellar.
