The AnSwin Apartment

I had all the facitities to make my own breakfast, lunch & dinner. My Host Annette put some margarine, eggs, drinks and water, in my fridge. There was a washing machine for my use. I liked the location of appartment as it was easy to pick up a bus to Roseau or walk if I wanted to and 5 minutes from the local shop Lindo Mart.

The conversion from US dollars to EC dollars. I am coming from the UK so conversion should be done from Sterling pounds to EC dollars. I understand that conversion was done this way via the booking.com which would have left my host short or being charged more as the sterling pound is worth more and the conversion is less than the US dollar to eastern carribbean dollars. I did not like the unexpected power cuts that occured. There was one evening/morning where there was no internet on the island.

The place was cozy and reasonably well maintained. The cleanliness was of a high standard. The hosts were also very kind and hospitable.

Some furniture was a bit dated, but it was all very clean, so that was not a major issue.

Great base for exploring the island. Centrally located. Easy town access. Amazing host. Cold beer in the fridge on arrival. What more do you need!

There are probably other places in the forest or on the beach that are more peaceful, but we liked this location of your not getting a car rental.

A great place to stay in Roseau. The apartment was well equipped with a good kitchen. The WiFi was reliable. The host, Anette, was very affable and attentive. Highly recommend staying there.
