Amazing experience! This was by far the best apartment we've ever rented. Everything was incredibly comfortable, and the apartment is spacious and beautifully designed. We stayed for three nights as a couple with our 3-year-old son, and we honestly wished we could have stayed longer because it truly felt like home. The open layout was perfect for traveling with a young child, giving us plenty of space to relax and play. The restaurante Talhasca Villa Parda on the corner is a must eat place! . We would definitely book this apartment again the next time we're in Porto. Highly recommended!

The place had everything we needed and was just as advertised. The host was extremely friendly and expeditious—at our arrival we didn't find the key where it was supposed to be, but he made a phone call right away and got us into the apartment within a couple of minutes.

Host very communicative. 5 mins walk to a metro station, close to city centre. Porto is an unreasonable rip off these days and this property was on a cheaper side relatively. Free parking is possible with a combination of luck and time.

Unfortunately this wasn't a great experience, here's why in my view: 1. The property would benefit from a thorough renovation, particularly the ground-floor bathroom, which feels dated and worn. 2. Furniture is very basic, quite used and cheap and there's not much hint of a design in the flat. 3. It appears to be a relatively inexpensive DIY conversion spread across three floors and sound insulation is on a poor side, although not horrible. 4. The "master" bedroom is located on the ground floor and is dark and on a smaller side, not the most pleasant place to be. 5. The windows in both the master bedroom and the first-floor living room are fitted with old blackout blinds, meaning you have to choose between having no privacy from neighbours across the road or keeping the room very dark. 6. The spiral staircase is extremely narrow and may not be suitable for everyone. 7. I've spotted a cockroach in the ground-floor bathroom during our stay.
