Charming place. Could use some updates and a good power wash. There were dead bugs scattered all over, and a few spiders creeping around. Hot tub was fabulous after a long day of hiking. Great view of the lake.

Property was beautiful and the location was amazing. House needs some upkeep, maintenance and a deep cleaning. Overall, because of the location and view, the stay was still great.

I was torn on rating this property 3 or 4 stars. I went with 3 purely based on some issues that I read about in the previous reviews that I'd hope were addressed, but were not fully resolved. I would like to start with all of the positives. The property was depicted exactly as it is in the listing, which I greatly appreciated. The inside of the home was immaculately clean. Whoever the cleaning crew is should really be recognized. The proximity to the water/private dock was really what made our stay. If it had been warmer, there was a perfect swimming area cut out under a small waterfall. The water was blue/green and clear. Beautiful. We fished the entire stay. You can even see the fish in front of you in the water. Unfortunately, after entering the downstairs, we immediately noticed the smell of mold. There are dehumidifiers running but it was very bothersome for our allergies and our son who has asthma. And although the home was incredibly clean, we did find mouse poop on the beds that our kids were to sleep in (which we cannot blame on the cleanig crew, clearly). We also had to hear the mice run the bedroom in the night. I did not sleep well. Other than the downfalls, I really appreciated the customer service of Vacasa. We did not bring our dogs but in the entry way they even had a welcome station for the doggies with bowls and towels. That was such a nice touch. And I always felt if anything was wrong they were very accessible.
