Escape to Southwest Colorado with this gorgeous mountain cabin, perfect for a couple of small families or a group of friends. The large windows allow for plenty of light and jaw-dropping views or step onto your private balcony to take in the mountain and valley views while you sip your morning coffee. After a day of exploring the area, there's plenty of space on the wrap-around couch to enjoy a movie on the flatscreen as the gas fireplace crackles in the background. The kitchen is every chef's dream. It features wooden cabinets, modern stainless steel appliances, and gorgeous quartz countertops.

Pagosa Springs' Main Street is a half-mile walk from your door, where you can spend an afternoon shopping and dining or strolling the Riverwalk alongside the San Juan River. After a day of recreation, take advantage of the many hot springs in the area, such as The Springs Resort & Spa, or for a more natural experience, Hippy Dip Hot Springs. There are endless options of trails in the area that can be enjoyed year-round, including Reservoir Hill Park, less than a mile away.

House was A++. Great space, great amenities, wonderful parking and view of downtown Pagosa Springs we did walk into town. Highly recommend! Also loved the art. We were two families with kids and enjoyed every minute!

We arrived to a home that had had only the bare minimum of cleaning done. Surfaces were wiped down, kitchen was decently clean except for the floors & disgusting garbage can with food splatters all over it. Laundry & dishes were left in progress. Moldy food in the refrigerator. Hair in the bathtub. Vacasa refunded our cleaning fee which is better than nothing but really the bare minimum when the first hours of our vacation were spent cleaning.
The biggest issue however was how uncomfortable the house was due to the heat. I get that many mountain homes do not have a/c & that’s fine. However, nearly every screen in the house was ripped & the main screen door was completely broken & taken for repair but was not fixed before we left. Windows that should open did not due to missing cranks (but the screens were ripped anyway.) It was close to 90 degrees in the main living spaces most of the day & evening. We had planned to cook our evening meals & it was so uncomfortably hot that we ended up eating out more than planned, which added to the expense of the trip. The mattresses were very comfortable but only flannel sheets were provided which is not what anyone wants when it’s still 80 degrees in the house at bedtime.
The house has so much potential. It’s really cute, the living spaces are great. The bunk room& game room were perfect for our older teens. We loved the location & the views. If more attention was paid to maintenance & cleaning this could be a great option in Pagosa.
