The Jungle Lodge

A fantastic stay with a lovely family, who were exceptional and helping us have a great time on Ometepe; arranging our taxis, vehicle rental, evening meals and breakfasts, and any other questions we had, replying speedily and helpfully. The place itself felt exclusive and provided a true serene vibe, having your own building and view of the sunset. Room was spacious, WiFi was good and had all listed amenities and was clean. Location was great, as you are near the waterfalls, beaches and kayaks, as well as within areas of wildlife.

Nothing really! Only really that the room itself could have more amenities (eg television/mini-fridge) but that’s being picky

We travelled as family. Nice unique rooms and amenities. Maykel is a very nice and helpful landlord. Delicious food. Perfect view from the hammock amidst lush garden. Abundant wild life

The location and the setting are very rural and there is a familial atmosphere. There are only a few rooms which results in an amazingly relaxing stay with beautiful sunsets. Location is good if you rent or have a scooter, car or ATV. You can get anywhere on the island as long as you have a vehicle (we rented a scooter for $15-20day and you can rent a scooter at the property) If you don’t mind going to sleep with stunning sunsets and waking up to the sound of howler monkeys, I would strongly recommend this place! Their food is also delicious and not expensive at all.

I liked everything, there was a small mistake that happened and the owner really did everything to get the mistake solved.

Bed was very uncomfortable, no air conditioning and fan was insufficient, and before I checked in, I asked if they had vegan food and they said yes, and they did not.
