Castillo Fuengirola

The location was amazing. The view was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen and living room were spacious with a nice layout. It was pretty quiet. The building was clean and well maintained. The management was very nice about early arrival, and let us have a late checkout as well.

The beds did not have fitted sheets and the mattresses were exposed and unattractive. There was dust on some of the lamps. The showers were small and the shower contraption was confusing and a bit old and wonky. The safe and the scale had dead batteries. The staff was a bit slow to respond and the flow of communication was a bit confusing. They could have been more generous about toilet paper and soap (both for body and clothes), especially since we were staying for multiple nights.

My goodness what a fab property, really is all about the location- outstanding views, 5 minutes walk to the pool or the beach & our favourite tapas place, Woods. Everything is provided in the kitchen, & so good to be able to wash our clothes before coming home, no hideous piles of washing! Very comfortable living room & beds were perfect. We’ve stayed in Fuengirola many times, this is now our favourite place. Will definitely book again.

Shower cubicles are small. Only one pillow per person, but I’m being really picky here

Views from property were amazing. The accommodation was equipped with everything. Very spacious and comfortable.

No sun loungers in pool area. 2 sun chairs were in accommodation for use but there were 4 adults in party. Bought 2 plastic lie lows but told were not allowed to use these as damaged grass as no tiled area. Towels on grass however was acceptable but hard. Beach however was excellent.

Mooi en ruim appartement.

Broodrooster was kapot en gaf zelfs kortsluiting. Elektriciteit was sowieso niet goed, één groep stond niet aan vanwege uitgesprongen zekeringsschakelaar in de meterkast. Verder was het onduidelijk hoe we de verwarming (via de airco??) konden laten werken.
