Wonderful apartment in a fab little town!!

Fabulous apartment with everything you could possibly need! The furnishings and furniture were lovely and we were very comfy during our visit☺️ Fabulous location within Grantown, making it a great base for walks, touring around, and just pootling in the lovely local shops!!

The meaty cooking smells from the bakery downstairs began to waft upstairs as soon as it opened at about 6am each day........particularly into the 1st floor bedroom!! Vegetarians beware!😉

Lovely stay in a wonderful spot

Lovely stay in this charming village. The hosts were very nice and welcoming and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The bakery downstairs was dangerously good, if I'd stayed any longer than the three nights I would be the size of a house. The lasagne pie was so nice, I had it twice. 🤣

The Granary was perfect for us on The Square. It had spacious rooms with all the facilities we could want.

Just need to be alert upstairs to not knock your head on the ceiling due to its design.

Everything, the decoration, the utilities and facilities provided, the location was perfect! Simon and his Wife being so helpful. This is a lovely place run by lovely people!

Very comfortable appartment in a nice little town.

Very well equipped and comfortable appartment in a lively little town. You can take walks or explore the surroundings. Everything was very clean. All equipment worked. Good beds and furniture. The hosts were very friendly and evidently take very good care of the appartment.

Just a few things to know: We found having to bring 100 pounds deposit in cash somewhat awkward. We had to ask for a receipt. We would prefer it if this went though booking.com or the credit card. The hosts ask the guests to remove their shoes in the house. Not a big deal but good to know. There are two bikes in a picture. They are not included (we did not miss them).

The Granary is stunning inside. The décor was beautiful and felt very intentional. In the best possible way it was like living in a magazine photoshoot. It was really lovely and relaxing. Love the bath. Nice views. Great location.

Not the property’s fault, but there were boy racers going up and down the high street each night (Sunday to Tuesday nights). Didn’t keep us awake, but could hear them. Also used to a king-sized duvet on a double bed so we were fighting over the duvet!

Apartment was better than expected, good facilities for drying of outdoor kit. Received excellent service from start to finish, central location with great parking, local advice offered, able to be flexible with times for an early check out to suit me.

High standard flat in a beautiful location close to nature walks.

High standard, clean and owner/host had thought of everything even washable slippers! Central location close to shops, free parking and close to beautiful walks in the woodland areas surrounding Granton on Spey.. Wifi included so we could log into our own Netflix in the evenings.

A lovely apartment with friendly, helpful hosts in a handy location

We had a wonderful few days at the The Granary. Sharon and Simon are so helpful and friendly and we enjoyed their warm welcome. The apartment is spacious, immaculately clean and very well equipped. The central location in Grantown is handy for shops and eating out, and is only a short walk to the woods and the river Spey. We hope to be back.

Apartment one of the nicest we’ve stayed in and had everything we needed. Simon and Sharon are excellent hosts, friendly and gave us all the info we needed for our stay. Location fantastic (as is the lasagne pie in the bakery below!)

Friendly helpful hosts who were easy to access if required (we did not need to). Central location. Homely, comfortable apartment. Wood burning stove fantastic.

Not a big issue but storage heaters less flexible to control than other types of heating but the wood burning stove made up for that.

A wonderful place, perfect location, beautiful scenery and stunning local walks.

Very friendly hosts, and a warm welcome. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Everything you needed to cook, relax, enjoy, and have a great stay. The Cairngorms are 5 minutes walk away and stunning. Local shops are great, bakery, butchers, Co-Op, etc all very close and easy to walk to.

All in all, a lovely weekend courtesy of hosts, Sharon and Simon.

This apartment is centrally located on the "Square" in Grantown on Spey. Sharon and Simon were there to welcome us and made us fully aware of what was expected in terms of Covid compliance. Each room in the house was tastefully decorated but not to the extent that you felt uncomfortable. There is central heating and a log burner, which was used to effect on one night when the temperature dipped somewhat. There is a large bath and the shower provides plentiful hot water. The welcome pack, including prosecco and a free Granary in the Square bag, was a nice touch. This was 5 star accommodation on a 3 star budget in a town which has lots to offer in terms of location and facilities.

I didn't like the fact that I failed to pack my golf clubs in the car, as the course in Grantown looks like a hidden gem and hopefully one that I will get to play the next time that I book The Granary in The Square.

Perfect retreat! We would stay again.

Gorgeous property which has been decorated well. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We loved the 'welcome box' and small touches around the property, including a range of games and dvd's. The location was perfect and it felt very homely.

The size was perfect for us but there is only one bathroom which may cause problems if the property is full.

Lovely house, friendly hosts, great bath.

It's generally lovely. Stand-out is that it was utterly spotless, which is so important during Covid. It was so clean that on the last morning I went looking under things just to find some trace of dust - there was nothing. The bath is wonderful, I'm a big guy and I rarely get a good bath, this was the best I've had in years. The house itself is beautiful and very well decorated, it's just a nice place to be. Hard to leave it for the day's activities! The hosts are very friendly, Simon and Sharon were there to meet us when we arrived and we saw them as we left too. We bumped into Simon while out for a walk - they're nearby if you need them. We liked the central location, some may find it noisy but it didn't bother us, and we appreciated having all the shops so close.

Apart from the main bed, the mattresses are a little thin - you wouldn't want to be heavy. And the dining table isn't very comfortable, the stools are very square, as are the footrests on the stools and table, so they dig in after a while. But that's it, everything else was great.
