Alpine Lodges

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this lovely lodge as a family of four. The location and views were amazing, and the lodge was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spacious enough for all of us. Our boys especially loved seeing the sheep and calves in the little petting area, which was a lovely added bonus. The property was peaceful and quiet, and check-in and check-out were both very easy. We only wish we could have stayed longer! A lovely place to stay in Lake Tekapo, and one we would happily recommend.

Amy went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Firstly to allow us to amend our booking with no extra charge and then to help return an item that we left behind by mistake. We stayed in the Billy Hamilton cottage, it was cosy, clean and quiet. The breakfast provided was a nice surprise and the stars here are incredible. Highly reccomended.

Very clean and warm and comfortable. Easy to enter and leave property. Good communications. Loved the fresh eggs and bread and beers that were provided. Hot tub great, clean and warm.

The log fire, hot tub and local produce on arrival is very good, but you day pay a premium for these.

Despite the premium price charged the cabin was a bit worse for wear. The shower raiser was held to the rail with zip ties, the cookerhood was missing a bulb and so the lighting didn't work, the coffee machine leaked and the corner carousel in the kitchen didn't work because the doors were missing and the pillows are thin.. Not good when you charge over £400 (800nzd) per night.
