Arriving by bike you really need to get ready for the 2.7km climb to the hotel. Once there though the terrace is wonderful and the food is really, really good.
We arrived in a heatwave. We did not know until I mentioned how hot it had been at checkout that there were electric fans in a cupboard in the room .. would have been nice to have known. Also the room was above the restaurant so there is some noise until 11:30 or so ... That being said, we did enjoy our stay and when we returned two days later the fans were deployed and the shutters had been closed which made a big difference regarding the sounds from the restaurant.
