Perfect all around! My room was clean, tastefully appointed, comfortable, and felt so luxurious after walking all day. The food was amazing- cooked fresh (some of it picked right from their garden in front of my eyes) and SO delicious. Hosts are so kind, welcoming, and helpful. I absolutely loved staying here and would absolutely return (I would walk from Santiago to Muxía again just to stay here again!)

A little off the Camino, but well worth it... The last kms on the road to Casa A Pichona were well marked by road signage, though the final stretch was a little challenging with the last steps directed by a neighbour, through some village street construction. The Casa, an attractive stone building opening directly off the street, houses a beautifully restored interior space that includes a cozy, romantic dining room area that overlooks the garden, orange trees and river below. Meals in the dining room were exceptional; be sure to get the cheesecake, some of the best we’ve had… The entire facility was clean and bright, and a nap after a day’s walking on the Camino was made easier by the comfortable twin beds and easy breezes in our room. One of our favourite stays on the Camino and a very happy surprise, made even better by extremely friendly owners.

It’s a great stop just before the main area of Drumbia. You don’t have to worry about food, drinks or water as they have everything there.
