Somewhere over the Rainbow Loft with AC Hilo

Great location! We walked to downtown Hilo in about 10 minutes and the place was clean. Loved the amenities and the different equipment to make our stay enjoyable.

This is out of their control but the Kouki frogs were pretty loud at night. The driveway also is steep so the underside of our rental car scratched when we were exiting and entering. However there is ample street parking

Really nice and spacious property with all the amenities we needed for our stay! We appreciated all the towels and surprise snorkel gear, as well as the welcome cookies- that was so nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and ear plugs were provided for the coqui frogs that are all over Hilo (there’s no escaping them anywhere lol). The AC worked really well to keep us cool, and worked as white noise in conjunction with the ear plugs so we slept pretty well. There was a washer and dryer that we used which came in handy, and plenty of kitchen supplies and even tea that was provided! The location is great! Walking distance to downtown (although there’s plenty of parking downtown so you don’t need to walk if you don’t want to).

Nothing, everything was great! The snorkel gear was super appreciated- although just FYI only one of the masks work. The other one is missing a nose valve. But NBD because there’s a rental close by and plus, we weren’t even expecting any gear so this was the property going above and beyond and we couldn’t have asked for more!

The property was clean, close to shops, easily accessible and it felt like home
