Spacious, comfortable and well-appointed accomodation, with everything we needed as a self-catering base for a long weekend in the area. Despite chilly weather the central heating warmed the place up very quickly. Our host Anthony was friendly and helpful and very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

The peaceful location.
The smell of manure, at times
The doors need hooks to keep them open, outside doors I.e.
A sunshade outside would be nice.
The table at the front needs some repair work.
A few extra tea/ coffee mugs neededvery good location.

The lodge was very nice & comfortable. Staff met us when we arrived & showed us around the lodge before leaving us to settle in. The hot tub was very nice. The lodge was in an ideal location which allowed us to visit family who lived nearby & Alton Towers

Lovely area for a nice break away. Lady who met with keys very welcoming and nice
Property could have been cleaner, lots of cobwebs which hadn’t been cleaned, plates & cutlery visibly dirty and bed in double bedroom very uncomfortable. Also didn’t use the hot tub as visible bird faeces in the bottom of the hot tub
