Good location for us and a fair price.
We needed the rugs so appreciated those.
Comfortable beds and clean and great shower pressure.
The light in the entrance hall didn’t work which made arrival in the dark awkward. The main light in the first bedroom didn’t work either. Cold on arrival and the heat pump in lounge doesn’t work. Pleased to have a radiator in lounge that warmed it relatively fast, and in bedrooms too. Rugs in bedrooms were lovely too.

Great easy-to-find location handy to supermarket, shops and restaurants. Nicely appointed rooms with comfortable beds and plenty of space.
There was no "Information/Welcome folder upon arrival. We had difficulty getting the TV to function, so needed to contact the owner. The oven did not seem to work. The cleanliness was not uniform throughout the property. Some areas were spotless, but toilet and bathroom area floors had not been vacuumed. It would be nice to know the history of the building if possible, as it looks historic.

Clean, comfortable, old style typical of Oamaru & close to town

Nicely decorated, good quality bed linen and towels. Easy access to town centre and harbour.
We were a bit cold. No electric blankets so we bought hot water bottles. No heater in the bathroom. Shower not draining so had to keep turning it off mid shower to avoid flooding the bathroom.

"Wow - what a fabulous find. This house is gorgeous. We only had a quick one night stop but would've loved to have stayed longer."
