Too expensive

J'ai apprécié le personnel toujours à votre écoute pour vous satisfaire au mieux ! Finalement le prix fut très correct avec la balade en chameaux ainsi que les transferts au camp ! Nous avons également aimé de profiter de la piscine de l'hôtel ksar a quelques minutes de notre camp ! C'est vraiment un plus quand on reste 2 nuits au camp ! Nous avons dormi dehors a la belle étoile sur des vrai lits tellement il faisait chaud a cette époque de l'année ... ( 45 degrés) Merci a toute l'équipe pour votre gentillesse !

A cette époque de l'année il n'y a pas beaucoup de monde tellement il fait chaud ..Nous avions pratiquement le camp rien que pour nous ! C'était génial ! Sauf que le lendemain un groupe d'amis d'une dizaine de personne est venu un peu troubler le silence du désert avec leur enceinte musicale ! Je pense qu'il serait bien d'interdire ce genre d'équipement pour la quiétude de tous! Imaginez vous si tout le monde venez avec son enceinte !!!! Bref le groupe fut quand même très sympathique quand je leur ai demandé de baisser la musique !..Un grand merci à toute l'équipe du camp pour leur gentillesse et leur dévouement....

Der Kamelritt vom Hotel in Merzouga ins Camp war mit etwa 2,5 Stunden ein beeindruckendes und unvergessliches Erlebnis – die Wüstenlandschaft ist einfach atemberaubend. Auch das Abendessen im Camp war hervorragend – kulinarisch wirklich top! Allerdings sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass die Zelte im "Glamorous Luxury Camp" , wie auch alle anderen Camp Zelte ... weder Klimaanlage noch Fenster haben. Wir waren im Juni 2025 dort, und trotz der abendlichen Kühle in der Wüste war es in der Nacht im Zelt für uns einfach zu warm und "ohne frische Luft". Großes Lob an "Hammou", den Manager des Camps, der sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Er hat uns kurzerhand am Abend zurück ins Hotel in Merzouga gebracht – eine sehr unkomplizierte, serviceorientierte und kostenlose Lösung. Am nächsten Tag haben wir mit ihm eine spannende Jeep-Tour unternommen, die ebenfalls ein echtes Highlight war. Insgesamt eine tolle Erfahrung mit sehr gutem Service – mit der Einschränkung, dass man bei einem Besuch im Sommer mit großer Hitze rechnen muss.

Ein Punkt, den ich jedoch als nicht ganz transparent bei Booking.com empfinde, ist der Transfer vom Hotel in Merzouga zum Camp (und das ist immer der Startpunkt zu einem Würstencamp / dort kann man sein Auto parken / alle Camps haben ein Hotel in Merzouga ). Da dieser Ort üblicherweise als Anreise-Startpunkt dient, sollte der Transport aus meiner Sicht klarer in den Gesamtkosten bei der Buchung berücksichtigt oder zumindest deutlich hervorgehoben werden. Der Transfer kostet durchschnittlich 30 Euro pro Person – bei zwei Personen also 60 Euro pro Strecke bzw. 120 Euro für Hin- und Rückfahrt (unabhängig davon, ob mit Kamel oder Jeep). Das ist ein nicht unerheblicher Zusatzbetrag, der oft erst kurzfristig auffällt. Ich finde das nicht in Ordnung wenn nach der Buchung noch einmal solche Kosten aufkommen.

The owner and staff were extremely attentive and always made us feel welcome. I had many questions before my stay and the owner was quick to respond. He made arrangements for our camels for us to go to the camp at our request in advance. You first, (if you came by car), park at a (safe location) hotel and then are driven to the camels close by. Your luggage is delivered by car to the camp and waiting for you when you arrive. During the journey there are stops for photo opportunities and then to watch the sunset. We then arrived by camel, were immediately offered tea and some snacks under the gazebo. The camp (like all of them) was situated next to the dunes, but you really feel like you are completely in them.During the stay the owner asked if we were interested in any activities. We inquired about quads and he also arranged that for us. They have sand boards you can use for free too. You have to pay cash, pay until departure. We also included all of our tips at the end which was nice as the staff divide them up. We returned by their vehicle at no charge which I recommend because after everything, we felt we were ready to just start heading to our next stop. One night is not enough to get a full experience (but is better than nothing if you are limited on time.) Two nights are perfect. They have a buffet breakfast (eggs, fruit, breads, pastries, yogurt, juice tea and coffee). Dinner was included too and was also good. They served a different entree each night. As soon as you finish dinner everyone heads over, a short walk from the camp, to a campfire and entertainment. We got to dance and also practice with their instruments. The tents were decorated lovely and were very comfortable. We had a king size bed and two twins. There is also seating outside each tent. I highly recommend this Glamorous Luxury Camp as it was definitely the biggest highlight of our two week journey.
